Your best bet would be to ask in the guild recruitment forum for a deaf guild. They exist an folks there may have a better idea of where they are.
Your second best option would be to ask in your realm forum followed by using the New Player Friendly Guilds thread sticked up above.
This tends to be a low volume forum for 241 different realms. Chances of finding someone from your realm and faction are about 1 in 500.

They used to have a family active wow forum. Don’t know if they are still active but they have been a good resource in the past.
