Thank god I already farmed all the mounts and xmog sets from legion in retail so I have no need to play that garbage xpac and useless grind again.

my opinion and observation on what they are doing to the game is that they are attempting to capture more of the mobile crowd by simplifying things. Same thing with the console crowd. I mean, you can already play the game by connecting a controller to your PC. At the end of the day, the PC version and the console version would require different levels of coding and an extra set of maintenance.
Then thereâs a huge conflict of cross platform. Most console games took a while before they had a cross platform element available to them so if they did bring it to console immediately, theyâd better have a cross platform implementation set up otherwise anybody playing on Xbox and PlayStation five is only gonna be playing with one another and not with the entirety of the World of Warcraft community.
Then thereâs maintenance, and then they have the choice of do they make special items just for console? The same way dead by daylight dead between PC and mobile. And then that sparks a whole new war. so no, I donât see it coming to console or mobile anytime soon.

Are we there yet/servers back up?
Yeah, I think even if itâs not actually going console, thatâs the crowd they want, because they think they can rake in more subs that way.
Problem is⌠the same people who will jump onto a game and spend some money on a whim⌠will leave that game for the FOTM after a short while⌠leaving the game without the new players, and without many of the old players who have finally given up and walked away.

What are the odds that we will finally be able to convert our characters from Legion Remix?
My hunch is that itâs slim and none.

I suspect long maintenance are due to changes to the database. Theyâre too cheap to pay for the resources to do this without taking it all offline for a bit.
So with all the problems itâs probably nothing new, just fixes that required DB changes.
Edit: And I suspect extensions to long maintenance are from bugs in their DB change scripts. So they have do it over.

Why is the Classic HC server still down?
The smart play would be to avoid taking it to another platform. Most console games tend to be cheaper if not free after the initial purchase simply because consoles are primarily a younger demographic. Specifically a different generation that doesnât necessarily have disposable income. While itâs not the only case, I canât imagine them trying to bring it to console simply because they wonât make as much money as they do on PC. Itâs not exactly like Fortnite where you can go in and buy a Snoop Dogg skin for your night elf hunter. 
I care about the player experience.
You care about a billion dollar corporationâs bottom line.
