Long Boi Extension Petition

This

They gave you like. A years warning in advance. How much more time do you need?

just fork over the cash for tokens like they want everyone to do for a pointless code

How about they just don’t remove it at all. The only reason they did it was to sell tokens in the last year.

Edit: Yes, I know it’s going to the BMAH. My point is they shouldn’t have messed with Longboi at all.

If it was to sell tokens.

Wont it sell more now?
Mabye more than more, since you have to have the gold, to bid, and thus might spend the gold before it shows up.

How is it any more “taxing” on the system than any other mount?

What kind of statement is that? The mount isn’t just a mount. You do know it has an npc that uses an intensive game function right?. They already tried (like 2 months ago I think) to cut down on communication on AH and then eventually pulled back to put a limit on cancel scanning.

Please & TY Blizzard. Please extend

Technically it is extended via the BMAH. Just be prepared to farm 9,999,999 gold instead of 5 mil.

And it will go for gold cap and be only available for the first year of shadowlands /sarcasm

I could see blizz doing this scary enough.
Taking advantage of player Fomo

It shouldn’t be removed period. Or they should add alternative skins at the very least for people who like the model.

It’s a question.

Yes, I do know. I HAVE ONE.

If the AH is having problems before the brutosaur is particularly common - and 100% of brutosaurs in existence are likely never hitting the AH simultaneously - the Brutosaur isn’t the source of the problem. Limiting the number of brutosaurs will not fix the problem and would likely not escalate the problem at a significant rate because it’s still a stupid expensive mount.

If Blizzard is worried about the auction house, it should break third-party auction apps, not gimp its own content.

They do not need to extend the period to purchase this mount. They created a nice mount. It was suppose to be for peoples enjoyment. Instead they made it about money and greed. That was Blizzards prerogative not ours.

Now years and years into the future people will not be able to enjoy this fun thing they created. I wonder how the creator feels about that. Have something made and pretty much unobtainable by a majority of the playerbase. Due to insane pricing and later on in hopes to drive up WoW token sales.

Did that work for you Blizzard? How many people actually purchased piles of WoW tokens? I don’t ever see that many brontosaurus mounts out and about. So I would imagine not as many went to flock and purchase your currency. You did successfully alienate your customers (forums were swarming with complaints.) tho. As a majority of the customer base does not have it.

I hope to never see one of these moves/tactics ever again.

It’s not being removed though? It’s being moved to the BMAh. Just wait for it to end up there, and drop gold cap on it.

Longboi was never intended to be something everyone got.

If they left Longboi alone, this would still be true.

Nah. The fewer of those annoying things around, the better.

Your smoking the good stuff if you think they will extend their money making scheme.

Everyone knows that it’s being removed to invoke FOMO, and get people to play a pretty dead expansion.

I’m totally fine with the end result.

The AH lag is being caused almost entirely by people abusing TSM to cancel scan. Which is being caused by blizzard deciding that last in, first out was a smart way to design the new AH.

Swapping it to first in, first out, would essentially remove the incentive to spam the AH as hard as possible. Outside of looking for deals on things.

It wasn’t, but you didn’t have a limited time to purchase it from a vendor.

It was a strategy to drive up sales for tokens. From low results of a quarterly report and compensate for the mediocre response from whatever was announced/released at that time… I wish I could remember what was poorly received at that time. Alas I can’t recall and not be bothered to look it up.

A removal of a mount from a vendor was a poor move by Blizzard and I sincerely don’t want to see it happen again. As we could’ve taken our time gathered up the gold slowly and eventually purchase it one way another on own accord not a forced limited time.
