Lol@patch notes

SP should have dispersion halved and double the mana - then it is not absurd in pvp and inline with other classes outside of completly broken shamans.

ya but its not a problem, just kill them when they come out. but i wouldnt be opposed to that change so all the noob shut up tbh it wouldn’t make a difference other than the mentality of ppl that are low skill

Enhance shaman is busted. Shadow priest is busted. Rogues are busted. Coming from a Rogue.

Boomkins do not need any buffs, they’re already broken still. If anything they should have a spell range nerf.

Rogues and ranged hunters only need pve buffs, they’re fine in pvp.

Ferals could use some major buffs for cat form abilities. I think that giving them major cat buffs in exchange for bear nerfs in pvp could do the trick, since you literally do better damage in bear right now, and bear is pretty busted atm.

Agree on all the nerfs

Shamans need some heavy nerfs overall, specifically enhance.

Spriests need nerfs on their dots, specifically void plague. They’re already pretty tanky, no need to allow them to do 90% of your hp with 2 dots while lifestealing all your hp. Maybe a flat %damage reduced in pvp, %damage gained in pve. So that they at least stay relevant in raiding.

Living bomb needs to get gutted like living flame did. Maybe allow it to be dispelled without triggering the explosion would do the trick. OR limit how many can be applies so there aren’t multiple mages spamming it and 1 shotting whole crowds. Even better just reduce it’s damage/add a target limit.

Warlocks, while they’re fine atm, need to be tested in future phases because I can almost guarantee they’re gonna need to be tuned in p3/p4

This is a good take! :+1:

I think ultimately what needs to happen (assuming scaling gets more and more out of hand with the way buffed gear is atm) is they tune class numbers for PvP specially once entered player combat or in instanced PvP without it affected PvE, similar to how they’ve done on retail before

I think boomies are fine, rogue could be toned down a bit but give them some type of utility to bring to raid like 5%crit/5%hit or something. Spriests - if you halve the dispersion duration and double the mana they wouldnt be reasonable with the rest of the classes. Enh shaman is just busted - shouldnt have essentially tanks running around globaling people.

Why would rogues be toned down? They’re overall the weakest performing class in gnomer right now. You could make the arguement for frost mages/ferals but those guys can respec into something that surpasses rogues lol.

Bowzo is a little unhinged, Rogues are easily the weakest class right now after Frost Mage

They could nerf VP damage by half and noobs would still be complaining about SP. Hell, they already did it to SW:D and people seem to think that ability is still busted.

This is why they need a pvp forum so people like you can get muted right away. Saying bear form is busted in pvp is the most asinine thing I think I have ever read on these forums and you have NO idea what competitive pvp actually looks like. Just because bear form counters rogue does not mean its OP lol.

Boomy 100% needs a buff or changes to help how damage is done. Right now boomy has to stand there casting Starfire and wraths. What kind of pvp’r allows a caster to free cast??

The boomy cannot cc you
The boomy cannot Kick/silence
The boomy cannot shift a bunch of times and heal or they oom

Star surge does LESS damage now than a CASTED WRATH.

Sure Gholdengo if you play random bgs with bad randoms and a boomy stands in the back free casting PVE rotations I can see why you might think they’re OP.

Shamans need “some” nerfs but also need something to keep them competitive in pvp. They can’t off heal or cc. If they get damage nerfed to hard then they’re trash in PVP. Unless ofc they use their procs to off heal which greatly reduces their damage. Also they’re melee and their kick is melee range. You can’t just greatly nerf everyone’s damage and think pvp is fixed.

They do not do this… Unless you’re talking about getting dotted and just standing there waiting 30 seconds to die. That would be kind of weird? So basically you’re asking for huge pvp nerfs based off pve situations, cool.

The fact that you don’t even know how a boomkin works but are in here spouting “nerf rawwwrr” is baffling.

pvp isnt always 1v1, infact in this version of wow it almost never is. welcome to SoD???

In pvp, they need buffs and utility for raid was my point. I have a rogue as well.

how you’re still getting dumped on by rogues as feral in p2 is beyond me

Where are you seeing these patch notes at?

everything is SoD is almost fine, the pvp damage is too high but we should tune stamina higher so it doesnt become a resilience priest/healer meta again

Also enh and ele shamans are oneshotting ppl with high defenses

SoD players are the worst PVPers i’ve ever experienced in my 15+ years pvping on it. I am 100% unsure if its classic andies or retail 1550 heroes or an even mix of both. It seems like its an even mix of both of those + the bottom of the barrell scraps of both avenues

I agree with that on crusader strike but living flame has some decent pvp’rs. Lone wolf hasnt been terrible overall either.

Horde in general since classics re release have been pretty bad overall.

Ya exactly. I loved when tbc+wotlk classic came out bc all the players with r14 were all stuck under 1500-2k when arena came out. Classic pvp community players are hilarious. I’m sure all the ppl that complain on SoD forums about class balance are the same ppl above
