Three times now your New Camp system has deleted a camp and tossed those characters back out into the main character area lolol.
Do I need to worry about my gold and stuff disappearing too? lol

There seems to be some spaghetti code in the camp. You’re not alone.
Maybe spag code in general I recently had a dawnbreaker normal where all 3 ships straight up didn’t appear. I got put on the main one after falling to my death but the side ones just wouldn’t show. Very blessed to have a party tolerate me but it was mind boggling.

I dont mind redoing it, but anytime software is undoing, deleting, etc all by itself the more serious issue is…what else is it undoing, deleting, etc, lol.
I like my gold and my collections and like to see them kept intact.

I absolutely understand your pain. I tend to focus on a few characters and want nothing to do with my others (bad habit of create/delete). I’ve made 6 camps called inactive and shoved my ‘don’t want to see characters’ at the bottom.
Bet legion remix is going to come and mess it up again.

I think I have 15 camps set up. Some are empty so I could get them set like I want them since evidently we cant move them around after theyre made.
Mostly categorizing by character level except for a couple alts that I might not keep…which just happen to be the ones who keep getting kicked out of their camp, lol, go figure.

The game’s only going to get worse over time. Server stability’s already taking a hit.

I feel your pain.
I have so many camps. I like to have options of what I play. And I like to camp toons.
But, yeah … losing my sorting of my campsites would totally be a PITA.
I don’t even use the camp feature. I took all my characters out of the base one just so i could have the old list. Much better this way, the camps are pointless.

I’ve seen that happen a few times. Had it happen to me once. Learned pretty quick that Soaring as a Dracthyr is a bad idea. It desyncs you from the rest of the dungeon, and caused a second Dawnbreaker to appear. That dungeon is too broken.

I wish we could go back to the old style listing of our characters before this mess now…I have quite a few alts parked on other realms for Battle Pet buying …its a royal PITA to chase down the list now and try to read the small print of which realm they are on now…

I’ve found that happens if I make a camp and then log out. But if I make one and get in the game for a bit and then log out, it stays.

I want to try it out on my Evoker now! 
Pretty sure the warband list is controlled by a txt file in your wtf folder. Changes probably aren’t committed to disc until you log into the game and then log out of the game normally.

You 100% do. Just look at all the guild banks that got cleaned out (I had 7 near full tabs, 100% wiped out, and they sent me NOTHING back).
And the word is, all items and data belong to Blizzard, not us. So they have 0 obligation to restore anything, and expect you to consider yourself lucky for anything they do restore/fix.
So yeah. You don’t pay a sub fee for persistence, your entire collection of everything is volatile.

Yeah, and I mean, I understand crap happens, but the way they handled it was underhanded and dishonest.
One guy that lost a bunch of gold in a warband glitch got told that such a good player as him could make it back easilly playing the game…
They just want your money, and the quality of their product, and safety of your data, mean squat to them nowadays.
Just look through the bug report forums for a few minutes, and you’ll see how many people are losing gold, items, reputations, and who knows what else, on a regular basis. Once in a while you see someone get some help (can’t imagine what they went through to get it), but usually you see the same issues continue to be an issue, week after week after week.
I’m having more fun, and saving money, playing other games that don’t ask for a sub for volatile data storage.
