LOL this hilarious. Why is this addon still a thing?

Wrong, because my guild doesn’t have a clique and I believe we fall into the category of “every guild.”

I am in the same guild that says the same thing, but usually, on my main, its just me and the same people running keys every day before we were geared enough.

It got to a point i was bored of doing keys and I even told them to get this new guy in but they didnt and ended up getting a friend of theirs that does keys with them when im not around.

You’re one of those 435 ilvl people who thinks they should get invited to a 2/2/6 AotC group because your main is 3/12 Mythic, aren’t you?

You wouldn’t need to need to tell your main io since you can link it. I definitely believe a level 58 dk posting to complain about rio though yuppers.

You probably wouldn’t like the answer it would likely be the same as gearscore and they would implement their own version. However judging by armory it would probably give no credit for not timing a key which would just increase the leaver issue.

I assume gearscore was like this before blizz baked it in

which would mean m+ needs ratings to get rid of it

correct that’s what people don’t get blizzard likes quantifiable metrics that’s why gearscore was added to game and if anything rio would be added as a base addon.

before this we had gearscore, before that we visually inspected your gear this is nothing new…at all.

I like rio. Helps me get good players to put up with my low io self in the rare occasions of me doing a key.

might make the leavers problem worse, and the application process more exclusive

there’d be an in game number to “ruin”

whereas now you can just get your own key and make these groups yourself

Agreed on that

I am over a 2k IO (worked my butt off to get there) and I’m getting declined for 15/16 keys despite having cleared them before. I finally bit the bullet and messaged one of the folks who declined me. Their reason? I was a warlock… Lol.

People will always be crappy if you give them the opportunity to. Ya it irritates me but I’m not going to get dissuaded and will continue to push my own keys and pug. Just can’t let these things get to you!

I actually like playing with Rag server players. Several of them are really good and friendly.

If I had my way RaiderIO would be removed instantly. It just creates a toxic elitist environment. Someone will always have a higher IO than you and you will be left out. Having said that, I hope the Mod application itself suffers an eventual collapse. ^^

Well, if it’s not a dungeon score, it would be an ilvl requirement. If not that, then an armory link with your progression.

At some point with the systems dev’s are creating such as the covenant and how they will strongly impact on M+ it will reach a point where it’s going to blow up.

Imagine this guy trying to join a +14/+15 on nasty weeks where certain trash packs are really deadly and the guy didnt pick venthyr blink… insta declined.

People can just look up what keys you’ve done on your armory. You want them to remove armory, too?

Though I think there is too much emphasis on mythic plus scores, what prevents people from using their own key?

You go ahead and do that inspect every single one trying to apply on your group for your 2-15 it doesnt work like you think it does.

I’ve been on groups where it takes 30+ minutes and the leader basically guided for io addon just for on the first pull things went south and someone left… even with medium/high io :man_shrugging:

It’s still a thing, because Blizzard can’t fix this problem. It’s a player problem.

Imagine if Blizzard did break Raider.IO and all the other addons that just sprung up after it. Eventually someone would just create a rating site completely out of Blizzard’s hands that let people rate their experience running with other players.

Then instead of getting rejected for having a low R.IO score, you’d be rejected because you don’t have a rating on the new site. The new site would suffer from people putting in false ratings constantly (positive and negative), and you’d just end up in a worse position than you already are.

So, it’s a player issue. Blizzard can’t fix stupid.
