Depends on the server there was only 1 Classic guild on my server leaveing the server a drop of water happened here.

It’s trolls trying to make it seem like classic is doing better than it is, and that BFA is bleeding scubs for Classic.
I know some people visited classic, that much is obvious, but only a small fraction of the people who visit classic are going to play it full time.

retail isn’t nearly as much “In trouble” as all the Classic Fanboys and Doomsayers are saying.
It’s been less than a week since classic launched, if people are playing it, it’s because it’s still new or they waited until the first rush was over, to start.
Classic isn’t going to hold that large of an audience long term.

If the player base went from 10,000,000 to 10,000 you more than likely wouldn’t know because you’re all getting put into less shards still

I think you’re underestimating the playerbase that is sick of the awful decision making Ion has had since Legion.
BfA is in trouble, it’s probably the worst expansion they’re released thus far. I wish it wasn’t so because I love arena but it is.

Seems like a subjective biased opinion, with nothing but feelings to back it up.
Vanilla is literally worse, in every way, than BFA.
The idea that people would hate BFA, but love Vanilla either means, people are holding baggage that isn’t related to BFA, or they are lying about how much they hate BFA.

I can only speak for myself, but I have never not enjoyed BFA. I am having fun with my pvp community’s daily. I run mythic dungeons and do arena with my friends, seems fine to me. I even dabbled in classic for a bit. I feel BFA>classic.

I really don’t enjoy BFA and I’m level 20 in classic and I’m making plans to stick around for a long time

but what you said was pmuch a “kinda joking but I’m not” passive aggressive statement in an attempt to try to downplay my claims don’t think anybody, even yourself, found that amusing.
Vanilla has actual RPG elements, character progression, unique feeling classes, meaningful grinds etc.
It’s by no means perfect, but it beats the crap out of BfA in everyway besides maybe raid fight mechanics and PvP such as arenas.
Retail needs class design overhaul, and the true RPG feel to be returned to it because rn it just feels like an action game with a slot machine.
Everything feels important in Vanilla, nothing does in BfA. That is a huge issue.
And that is good that you enjoy, but there is also people that enjoy BFA and plan on sticking with it.
Live and Classic doing well is a good thing for everyone

It’s really not though because it splits the already low playerbase of retail by bottlenecking you into choosing one or the other.
I can’t do arenas and sit in vanilla q I have to choose between the two.
