Lol retail

I actually kind of like this idea. Gives the factions more identity/pride

I agree it gave both factions their own identify in my opinion.

Didn’t this change due to horde complaints back in vanilla.

I thought it changed because Alli cried about bloodlust in PvE?

And mystery continues!

Nevermind it was only added in TBC. So not the cause.

I did take the liberty to read a few old articles on the topic. And from what i can gather horde players were the one’s that wanted paladins for their mana utility in raids, stating that paladins made raiding easier for the Alliance. But I also seen that most vanilla wow player’s wanted them to remain faction specific.

Excuse me horny lady, but Void Stone, and Diamond barrier are PVP BIS Items, obtained in PVE environments.

Your comment about YTMND is very underrated… But listen. We both know that was the primetime of internet in 2004-2006. Outside of that it was dead. RIP YTMND

retail sucks

you people saying vanilla will suck/be mediocre have either never played it, or only played private servers

it’s good for vastly different reasons that you think live might be good

arena pvp isn’t in it sure, but you also have 45x more buttons you can press so your small brains probably won’t be able to comprehend what’s going on

Yes I have and it was a boring slow paced game. Most classes were pigeonholed into one effective spec, take Pally for instance if you tried to do anything outside of healing you were laughed at. I get classic has a strong nostalgic pull, but most are seeing it through rose colored glasses.

Lol Classic looks horribly slow.

no i mean you literally had 30x more buttons than you have on live

There’s so mant specs that can one shot each other lol, things that don’t ever come close to happening on live idk how people even make statements like this plus hilariously some classes have more abilities at level 30 on classic than 120 on BfA

Slow rotations, a lot of auto attacks, sht takes forever to die.

Slow slow slow, it just feels slow. The stress test just reminded me of how tedious the game used to be.

I don’t understand how people can make a run-on sentence, into a paragraph, but here you are.

I guess you could say you’re not a very kind wolf

Meh I can get why people say it was slow from a purely gameplay perspective of not necessarily smashing globals because the rotations weren’t as tight but as Dillon said there was a lot of one shot potential floating around so in that way the game was quite fast. Idk.

That agree with.
