GCD: still not fixed. removing it from some didn’t fix it.
Vendors still needed for PvP and other places in -game.
However I will admit that is a start … but I feat that’s all you’re going to get which still leaves huge problems in both areas.
And btw the level cap was raised from 1-30 and then lowered up to 40% to 60. Then it gets raised again. Not insane babble it’s fact. In fact, in the forums under “XP From Dungeons” you will find the data table that demonstrates this fact.
This thread is literally about communication. Stay on point. This survey? It’s a form of communication. Blizzard trying to communicate, but it’s not good enough for you or any of the other whingers.
If Blizzard doesn’t communicate you say they ignore you.
When Blizzard does communicate, you say it’s not good enough.
Which is it? Make up your minds, because this is honestly unacceptable at this stage. You can’t have it both ways.
You mean from like 7.3.5 to 8.0 to 8.1? Because I was under the impression you meant from just 8.0 to 8.1. Because that’s simply a net change in our favor for every single level.
Blizzard has literally made changes to this game based on player feedback since beta. This is a fact.
They are just not the changes you personally want, and so clearly as far as you’re concerned these changes never happened or they don’t count. Sorry, but in reality, that type of view doesn’t fly very far.
You want a simple truth? This world is not fair and you will not get everything you want when you want it.
You can give Blizzard all the feedback you want until your fingers fall off from typing too much, but if what you want is not something they think is good for the game, then your feedback will not be implemented. By all means continue to submit feedback, but you should never ‘expect’ a response or expect your suggestion to be implemented.
Generally speaking if enough people say that they buy stuff from the shop all the time, then that’s a queue to Blizzard that players like unique mounts and pets on the store, and so they will add more over time.
If on the other hand enough people say they don’t buy stuff, then they may revist prices, aim for attractive bundle deals instead of singular items, throw in more promotional themed goods etc etc.
They won’t retire the shop, but they will adjust the types of goods available on it depending on if there’s enough interest or not.
Since Vanilla the game has never been less populated; friends lists are completely dar; all 6 of my servers including 2 “hipop” are virtually empty; guilds have emptied out…
The state of the game is dire.
Dying? Blizzard could still make a profit with as few as 500,000 players. But that doesn’t alter the fact that the game is in deep trouble atm.
" So Blizzard ENT launched a new API recently and it was leaking player subscription end dates. You could iterate over all players and calculate active subs. At the start of we had 3.2m subs, now at 1.7m of which ~25% are secondary purchases"
I believe this is true or more true than it is false. The amount of “I’m quitting” threads and the agreement to when a thread is made about something being terrible, just shows how bad the game is and how disconnected the company is with their customers.
Maybe the reason why your guilds and friends lists are emptied is because the people that you surround yourself with are just like you, only unlike you they were smart enough to quit playing a game they didn’t enjoy and chose to save their money.
For the record? On my server there are hundreds of players online most of the time (and no, I am not counting goldshire when I say that), the guilds I am in are active (except the one this character is in which is a placeholder) and my friends lists are active with people jumping on all the time, because unlike you I surround myself with people who actually enjoy the game.
The state of the game is fine, the experience you’re having is dire, and I’m chalking that up to your personality. I wouldn’t want to be on your friends list, given how you act on these forums with all the doom and gloom.
People are still latching onto this as ‘proof’ that the game is dying, even though Blizzard themselves reached out to the author of Weak Auras and confirmed to him that the numbers were inaccurate. He kept the tweet up for the sake of clarity but even the author of Weak Auras announced that he was wrong.
So maybe stop believing everything you see on the internet at face value.
