LOL really? a survey

That’s a quick way to get a survey ignored. They’re looking for the OPs opinion, not someone elses opinion.

? you’d link to opinions you can get behind…
just meant to send the message that they should check forums more

Regarding some of the questions they put into the survey. How much do you spend on in game stores. And the meme one “Do you have access to a phone, computer etc”.

nah no questions like that oh 1 question about what mobile apps I use I lol’d answered I don’t use a mobile apps… at end of survey they give u a comment box write as much about what u think in it… was a good survey… questions about what you think about everything lfr/pvp/mythic/norm/heroic exptidtaions everything what u like and don’t like what u like to see changed for future of world of Warcraft… Detailed…

Well anything to give players the false illusion of them actually caring about their game.

to there question what can we do to improve wow over the next few years? my answer was wow classic was a good start but not a long term solution, wow today is too far be on repair scrap wow and make a new mmo where everyone is lvl 1. (there was like a heap more I write pages but yeh)…

I want to agree with you but I kinda figure its a better move than nothing at all and Hope they do something positive with the new data.

Here’s my issue with the survey: yes, it’s a step in the right direction but at the same time there’s tons of feedback, sent before and after BfA launched, explaining the problems and potential problems with the expansion’s systems. Why didn’t Blizz listen then?

Want my guess?

Activision is really looking at them now. The new CFO was put in place by Activision. And, getting things down on paper (or pixels) so it can be quantified even partially is a good way to give company bosses who are breathing down your neck something they can see. Especially bosses who haven’t - so to speak – paid much attention before.

I dont agree.

You guys were complaining that Blizzard didn’t ask you why you were quitting on the Blizzard page, but now you’re complaining when they ask you via email,

Which one is it.

Makes sense and I’m fine with it. I think Blizz can turn this ship around if they set their pride aside and start addressing some of these issues.

That’s giving them someone elses opinion. That defeats the point of them sending the op the survey.

If you read my response I want to agree but don’t… reading is good for you.

I’m actually much more angry about Blizzard sending that “testing the waters” survey about micro-transactions and mobile games to South America. Looking for more sheep to fleece, I bet, and betting on their ignorance to make their money since China isn’t looking as hot anymore.

Couple other things struck me. The business with China wanting games reworked to get past their censors may have sparked worry with Activision, too – another reason to give out the survey. I wouldn’t be surprised to hear of surveys sent to other Blizzard games, or Activision games overall.

Also, a survey is anonymous. It’s you and the keyboard. It’s not a Q&A or AMA, where the vitriol and hatred some players have for the devs can color responses, take up time, etc.

Absolutely its a much better way to gauge where the player is at and why they have left than the forums or Q&A

They could just send a survey out to shut people up… it’s happened before, it doesn’t mean they will listen to what’s on it.
