Lol feel bad for dps warriors

As fury warrior lol Clearly blizzard have no idea what they are doing. We don’t take Odyrn fury so a buff to it is useless. WW is a filter spell or does dog water damage no matter how much buff it got. Also most fury warrior are playing MT which uses thunder clap. So I guess only good thing is the buff to thunder clap and thunder blast….

They fired the warrior dev after we were good early season 1 then got hit with the nerf and now we get the spare dev who has no clue how the class works to guess what we need.

WHIRLWIND 100% BUFF WOOT WOOT

Any AoE Arms build uses Cleave and every build has Sweeping Strikes so I have no idea what this is even for.

Correct. Literal monkeys behind our class design. But they keep turning dials and knobs in the hope they do something right.

30% Odyn’s buff? IMO still not worth taking. for like 4 points…

Only reason they even did this kind of buff to these abilities is because the 2 specs don’t take them.

For Arms, WW is replaced by Cleave which can be buffed up by OP. This to me is just a low point now for both specs as they try to make us compete in M+ trash pulls yet these don’t solve anything in that situation as they buff everyone else at the same time these just feel like throwing darts at a dart board buff at this point.

It just shows warriors just need a complete overhaul and rebuilt from the ground up at this point like every other class has gotten so far (Even some classes have had more then one rebuild over the last 2 expansions).

These are reasonable Fury buffs, even good ones, but the Odyn’s Fury buff is still kind of laughable.

This just barely makes it where you could consider using it in M+. It’s a capstone talent, it should be exciting - not just barely usable. Really wish they’d bump it a bit more to be a Powerful and Signature Fury Ability.

Keep your expectations low…that’s the key.

Watch them buff heroic leap damage by 100% next week.

For Thane Fury it’s about a 4-5% increase in AoE (i.e. keys) based on my own recent logs. It’s a “good” buff but still does nothing to fix the core issues, especially around the AoE caps. This buff isn’t going to make us compete with MM hunters, for example.

Would still be more effective than either of these whirlwind buffs.

HOLD ON TO YOUR HATS! THIS WILL SURELY TAKE US TO THE BIG TIME!
Once upon a time to troll. All across the world we go.

Maybe the intention here was to buff some under-performing abilities, to get people to take things like WW and OF instead of what we’re taking now? Either way, I hope they can make OF worth it again someday. I miss it :frowning:

Next week 5% buff to Slam for Arms

Next: 10% area increases for intimidating shouts.

I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s what they’re intending for many of these changes, outside of the Thane buffs that buff the meta spec for keys. I was happy to see Slayer buffed relative to Thane in keys in a recent round of tuning changes since I prefer it, but now it’s farther behind again.

I do agree with the idea of balancing talent builds so that there is less of a dps disparity for different builds within the same spec, but sometimes specs overall simply need a buff (and fury is one of those specs in need of buffs).

Fury needs mechanical buffs instead of numerical ones. Gutting the AOE burst because Fury was good at blowing up tiny adds on 3 boss fights in heroic Nerbubar Palace and has paid the price all expansion.

They will buff slam for fury only and call it a day oh and also increase damage for charge and victory rush
