“I shouldn’t have to.” is not a useful response. You pay to play or you don’t. There’s a simple way around this. It took me all of 1 minute to get in the game by going to the log in screen and typing my info. Complain if you want, but some people look for solutions.
Did that and it also didn’t work at the time. Everything is back to “normal” now so with all of these replies and most saying the same thing, I guess there was really a problem. Not just a “go to the log in screen and type in my info.”.
This. Move to small pop server. And…next month its on the realignment list.

Login queues and server queues two different things.

Login servers being borked has nothing to do with your connected realms.

but the login servers are not related to the servers you play on. realm connections probably* have nothing to do with this.
*I say probably only because I’m not on the blizz server team and leave open the possibility that it does. but it doesn’t

They’re only complaining because they don’t know the real issue they’re having. It has nothing to do with realm pop.
