I am not able to access my caracters too! It said ââ Character not foundââ

Hey all,
It isnât much of an update, but I just wanted to pop in and say that our teams continue to look into this issue and are working to get everyone into the game as quickly as they can.
I want to put a reminder out there. I know this is extremely frustrating, but please remember to avoid violating the Code of Conduct. Name calling, vulgar language (even if you replace a letter), etc⌠is still against policy.
As soon as I have any updates Iâll pass it along.

Its so great never even being able to compete for realm or world first, as you guys never have it rite, for 50% of your clients to even get in game.

Same thing here. I was logged in at launch, click a portal and poof I was DCD and now stuck on the black screen and cannot see my toons.

Blizzard it is so nice to be 1 hour after launch and still cant play. No characters on any realm. Lets go fix your game please

They wouldnt would they. Never do. They love to let us sit in our stew basking in the bad descision to buy a game prelaunch.

We pay for the expansion way in advance for development of the game. Then with its release the unforseen happens, boom its broke. Not the first time in this rodeo that its happened. Been in since beginning and cant remember a worry free xpac.

For those trying to change realms, I can change after a delay but even on the lowest pop servers I get same results, trying to create char times out also

Look I know we all knew this was gonna happen, but it still boggles the mind that after 15 years of doing launches devs STILL canât do it correctly. Pretty sure our sub money can pay for more AWS servers.

my first live xpac and i donât get to play, wanna cry qq but i know this is a server problem and if hundreds of thousands of people are trying to log in, no matter what itâll crash. pls stop being entitled, yes we all paid but no game server can withstand all that network traffic especially people from different zones playing on any realm. just wait it out, you arenât the only ones not getting in

Kept trying for a few more minutes and I managed to get the account in that I deleted the WTF for (but not before getting several more âcharacter not foundâ errors). Deleting the WTF on the other one and will keep trying.
I presume most people at Blizzard spent most of the month working on the content, not specifically on hardening the servers against everyone trying to log in all at once. Not sure how much they can do against that specific issue anyway â for all that some people call WoW a dying game, it still has enough playerbase to qualify as a DDOS attack at times like these.

I donât understand how the literal same issue that happened in prepatch is happening here as well how did this happen with such a massive company that has soooooo many years of launching online games. I 100% know this is not your fault, and youâre doing a great job at keeping everyone updated.
You took an additional 4 weeks (28 days) to work on this & you still canât get It right
