Not really. That bird hungers for orcs the same way we all hunger for orcs so you can expect someone else to start following you.

That Bird movie taught me very well to be aware of birds that follow you around. Especially near your eyeballs.

Yeah, the quest chain allows you to get little dragon whelpings from each of the Flights as a pet.
I have no interest in this junk and the is no way to opt out. It is ANNOYING.

Simply accept the quest, then stop tracking it.
Its actually faster than coming to the QQ forum.
In my case it was a bird. It was a Gryphon thing, and it mentions feathers and keeping it happy. Accepting the quest, it has 3 dots over its head. Like world quests, the quest doesn’t show in the quest log. There’s no way to abandon it or even see how to keep the thing happy. In my case it could be dismissed from the collections area. So now its gone and I’m happy.
