It’s stupid how much better TBC is than the last god knows how many expansions. Just sayin’. Gratitude, disappointment, all wrapped up in one.

My thoughts exactly. I’ve been saying all these years that TBC was the best Wow ever was… and I’m glad it wasn’t just nostalgia talking. This game is amazing. I will for sure be clicking the “Stay in TBC forever” button one day, because this is as good as it gets.

As someone who’s currently leveling in TBC, I respectfully disagree. I think Retail and TBC have their own pros and cons and neither fully outweighs the other in any sense.

I like azeroth way more than outland, but it’s still a pretty good expansion and place to be in. They improved the game in a lot of ways that classic wasn’t great at. So glad those elites in dungeon entrances and many other places are finally nerfed, and it’s easier to level now. But I’m kinda just waiting for the group finder and more features lol, it still sucks to spam in chat.

I plan to leave a clone here in TBC if Classic Wrath comes out, and then another clone in Wrath as well if Classic Cata comes out.

I agree Azeroth is more of the core WoW experience for sure. More interesting and more to explore, but it was the baseline. Considering the role of an “expansion” Outlands may be the best.
The gameplay improvements are the main thing, from professions to raiding to PvP to Heroics to some of the daily quest areas, and flying (controversial).
As far as removing the classic elites and stuff I kind of disagree with that, I liked the old-world danger but people have this idea that TBC invalidates classic, and they sort of designed around that. ESPECIALLY with the boost in classic.
