Listen up, nerds

Some of us also refrain from drink driving and have learned defensive driving.

There’s no point in fatalism.

I fall under that category. I’m 55 and have a medical condition (non life threatening) so there is a real possibility that I could die or get scarred from this disease if I catch it.

I could be wrong, but my guess is most, or all, of the people saying this is nothing to worry about are young and strong and I have no issue with that. I’m glad you will not be greatly affected by this, but just remember to reach out and understand that there some people at higher risk.

Isolation and preparation is key. Have friends and family help you with food and supplies and don’t have direct contact with anyone. It can be done even if this seems impossible. Just take it seriously and ask for help where you can. Reach out to your community leaders if you have no one to help.

People are breaking into businesses in my city… looting and looking for supplies already.

I’m at work and can’t link the study. Best I can do is link the drugs.

Chloroquine, an anti-malarial drug, and HIV-suppressing combination lopinavir/ritonavir have both reportedly shown promising results in human tests and made the virus ‘disappear’ in infected patients

Just google Australian covid cure

Dude, have you ever taken a cruise? Most of the passengers are old and near death. This is not a good study.

Well my brother took one last month and his ship was a nice mix of young couples and yes old people.

The US population is made up of a majority of millennials and then baby boomers… still a bad study?

Yes.

I just hope this pandemic will get my employer, a state government, to completely shut down. Time off where I won’t have to use any of my sick or vacation time is the kind of time off I like.

Look. I’m a 37 year old female with no other risk factors (as in not obese, no underlying diseases) and I already have it.

I am considered to have a “mild” case and am quarantined in my room. “Mild” meaning, I have slept most of the last three days. I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone let alone bad enough to need hospitalization.

Is this the same speech you gave before we went out and beat up Cenarius?

Might I ask where you are from? City/State?

Also I hope you recover well!!

wow are you ok?

I’m familiar with the claims, but such claims made by a couple of blokes asking for cash donations, without showing any back-up studies, is a far cry from a proven cure.

It might work, but Australia is not the first country to be looking into repurposing outdated drugs.

Get well.

Hey, man, that **** worked.

Wishing you to get well soon.

San Jose, CA. The entire six county radius is going into lockdown for the next three weeks. Only exceptions are groceries/pharmacy, essential dr appointments/vet appointments. All non-essential businesses will be closed. Restaurants will be take-out only. And if you’re 65+ you’re supposed to stay in full time now, or if anyone in your household is affected by the virus.

I am expected to make a full recovery if I don’t get any worse.

Thank you for sharing.

Your story, that is.

I hope you make a full recovery. And thank you also for taking proper precautions while sick!
