So we know from the campaign that we have rescued the following:
Calia
Faerin
Tahu Sagewind
Moira Thaurissan
Taelia Fordragon
Prophet Velen
Anduin
And Salandria is with us in the assault at the Bridge on the March of Quel’Danas.
However, I have made an account of everyone that were inside the Sunwell prior to the incident, that we haven’t seen so far:
Aelyse
Mariella Ward
Mehlar Dawnblade
Nolaki
Captain Fareeya
Delas Moonfang
Valunei
Aponi Brightmane
Hadwin
Talthis
Vindicator Boros
Lord Grayson Shadowbreaker
Justicar Julia Celeste
Kok’osh Rera
Mother Goldskimmer
Also, post campaign (current, after defeating L’ura), the ones we rescued are no longer within the Sanctum of Light, so it is unclear their whereabouts.
We might only know their fates in the last mission next week, but until then, I’ll keep this open so if anyone has any information or has seen these (except Taelia, because if you haven’t done all the Everson quests, she’s still waiting for you outside the inn).
Worth noting that, Delas Moonfang has not joined the Kal’dorei in the assault at the bridge, but Salandria did join the Blood Elves.
It is, you can actually rescue all those that I have listed, they are all there, but you can get any of these 4.
And none of them are in the list of missing.
Those that you rescue are found wounded in the Sanctum of Light, being treated with a curse of the void.
Im wondering the same thing. Where are these people? Are we to presumed they died at the end of the Voidspire? The survivors we picked up were BARELY alive. So are they just dead? Thats alot of noticeable names that arent super major lore character just evaporated. Ive been looking all over for Delas Moonfang and Captain Fareeya like nobody’s business- well any other member of the Vanguard. Especially Delas since shes our ONLY nelf paladin atm. Would love a confirmation since even with this weeks “Dawnwell” chapter , we see nothing of them. Not a single mention as if they didnt exist. Would love if someone would account for them.
pss… All of them are garbage, none of them surpassed the sunwell plot than Aveena, the reason why WoW had anime and JRPG, and not that garbage Adi Shankar Netflix animation that they did with Aurora for ONLY ALLIANCE.
You already blew up dalaran for shock value if you’re doing another mass character murder i’m just gonna stop caring and think you’re writers watched to much game of thrones thinking that works well in a wow setting.
After the purification of the Dawnwell, Umbric mentions in “Stay a while and listen” text that the Darkwell was more of just a bridge for a ton of void monstrosities to access the interior of Azeroth, and even after purifying it they’re still down there, moving lower and lower. Rommath muses on what they might be looking for down at the heart of the world… but we already know. (BTW, the last we see of Xal’atath is her retreating into the Darkwell, which means she’s most likely down there too)
My guess is that everyone still missing (+ Turalyon and Alleria) is most likely down there being carried along with the tide of monsters, and we’ll see them in a future patch or in TLT as either corpses, in stasis, or as quest/dungeon/raid bosses.
I am trying to understand what you mean by that because you haven’t either said where these 7 missing are, nor who they are, and what the hell is your dungeon??
Xal’atath wanted Dalaran destroyed because using it as a mobile fortress, alongside the strongest mage faction with all of the associated class order halls inside or connected to Dalaran … you can literally muster all of Azeroth via Dalaran and teleport anywhere on Azeroth.
So… Xal’atath destroyed a strategical advantage that has led to us defeating multiple cosmic forces in the past. Hardly for “shock value” at that point.
“Mass murder” might or might not happen, it largely depends on what conflicts that we end up facing in upcoming patches and The Last Titan. But anything as total as Dalaran is quite unlikely, except for places like Wyrmrest Temple - that one is either a likely future homebase or a strategic target that gets destroyed/turned into a raid/dungeon.
I am still going to be wary no going forward. I’m not into on the “Edge of your seat who is gonna die next.” type of story person as that kills any incentive for me to continue. I’ve dropped stories when the body count for interesting characters gets to high.
I don’t mind chars dying when it’s a meaningful but tragic moment but when they just start becoming statistics then as i said before it becomes shock value bait.
