On a completely unrelated note…can yall(community council) talk about how blizzard should add another Bear tartare recipe back to the game that is just as good as the original one from legion pre stat squish and pre level squish? It made transmog runs sooo much better.
I know there is a similar one that already exists but it is nowhere near as good as Bear tartare was.

I don’t think ALL addons should be removed especially the addons I listed.
Adapt is purely a cosmetic addon. All it does is change the still portraits and animates them, that’s it. For the most part, I still use the default UI.
Titan Panel just adds an information bar with coordinates, a little bit of what my alts have (gold wise) and my durability status.
TRP3 is just an electronic character sheet, that I use, to help flesh out my characters’ stories.
None of my addons that I use are invasive nor intrusive of other people.
The only addon that gets on my nerves and should be banned is that guild invite addon.
I leave public chats for this reason, but this addon spam whispers guildless players with guild advertisements. It’s annoying that I have to hide in guilds to avoid whisper spams. This is the only intrusive addon, I feel like. This addon needs to die in a fire. It’s the only one I truly hate.

So they can pretend other people will be worse without addons.
This have different effects/animations. You can tell them apart.
Try it and find out.
Look at the game and see.
Addons are optional. They dont come pre-installed.

Some of the only way boss mechanics can be implemented as difficulty as they are is because of weakauras specifically. If you remove weakauras you will find the challenge of bosses will drop dramatically which is a bad thing.

If it’s accessible to all, how is it an edge?
I’ve never been an add-on junkie as boss emotes are enough for Heroic, but those WF/CE folks are battling mechanics the devs factored add-ons into.

How does TSM give anyone ‘an edge’? All it does is make buying and selling easier. It isnt automated, you still have to interact with the AH and key in every buy and sell.
Wanting to ban them seems a bit on the petty side to me.

Not unless they come up with something in the UI that gives audio cues to help with those of us that have eyesight issues.
And also, having Hazelnutty’s voice gives the cues is chef’s kiss.

WoW can have an in game DBM if it wants. The new buy order system should be enough to sell stuff without TSM or botting.
If a fight is straight forward and obvious what to do like get out of the stuff on the ground, I consider it simple. That’s different than being easy.
I can’t name a single boss this expansion or for most of the last ones that you can go in blind, and know what to do just from what you see. But from what I’ve seen from FF14, it’s obvious what you’re supposed to do just by using common sense.
They may not be easy, but mechanically wise, they’re simple.
