Except for the fact that Imfiredup never did anything wrong in the competition. It had to do with a bug found in beta.

Tried to hide it by asking Max to not stream his computer.
Blizzard caught him, but let him go.

Well, Liquid windmill dunked the others.

The best parts of that is there is a new winner and now the devs can start tuning as they see fit with the race over.

You should do some research on Echo’s Fyrrak world first kill and the cheating they did with weak aura’s that weren’t allowed in the game.

I think most people who keep up with RWF are aware of that.

Two wrongs don’t make a right, which is why the devs need to be more aggressive with rules enforcements.

  • Did Blizzard hotfixed the API they used for the addon during the fight against Fyrakk?
  • Did blizzard fixed the API used by the addon AFTER the fight against Fyrakk?

No.

Blizzard hotfixed spellslinger while Imfiredup was exploiting it.
And he only stopped using when noticed it was not stacking anymore.
And someone told him about the hotfix.

Blizzard hotfixed because they SAW him exploiting the bug.
And he knew it was a bug.

And they found convenient to exploit the bug because for some reason they knew they could exploit and would get away with it.

Now that it’s over can Blizzard please do some actual balance fixes for classes and hero talents. Almost every spec has 1 hero talent that’s just so far ahead of the other. Now they can fix it without upsetting the stupid world first race.

To be fair, it was reported on the BETA and Blizzard did nothing about it. So I don’t blame Liquid for exploiting something they most likely reported on the beta and nothing happened afterwards.

Really it is on Blizzard for pretending bug reports are not a thing during a period of game development that is primarily about reporting and fixing bugs.

There is a reason why the meme where live servers are the true beta servers exists.

It’s alright, fanboy. Both Echo and Liquid are insane teams. Liquid just happened to be better this tier. Continue to balk over someone speeding and making it to their destination safely when you have other instances of someone drinking and driving and wrecking that you ignore.
