But, honestly, anything Bwonsamdi says. Iâm just not a fan of his voice actor at all.
You mean the Bwonsamdi love isnât universal? The way the forums gush about him at every turn made me wonder. I like how his voice actor clearly gets comfortable in the role but its too over-exaggerated for my own taste.

I donât mind it so much the first few times. But, say Iâm getting camped by alliance and thatâs getting me all riled up, hearing his voice just makes me instantly alt tab until I know heâs done speaking.
He does have a way of exacerbating my annoyance when the aforementioned Champs WQ issues pop up. But Iâll have you know, I did an Azerite Mining WQ today and the Alliance outnumbered the Horde. I was in and out in less than 2 minutes and I didnât endure Bwonsamdiâs mockery.
Today was a really great day.

I always turned on War Mode. I was just completely alone.
I am a night elf, a hunter, and an engineer. I have Shadowmeld, Aspect of the Turtle, nitro boosts, and Camouflage. Believe me when I say that I would not have been in WM if I didnât have a stealth. It was a nightmare.

Especially since that entire instance and then the Trial of Valor after it basically consist of moving the goalposts.
We beat the two bosses, and he grants us an audience. Then we have to fight the four filler minibosses. Then he gives us the Aegis, and Skovald intervenes. We kill him. Odyn then says we have to fight him. Why? He literally just gave us the Aegis. What stops us from just walking away?
And then the final nail in the coffin is that the first boss of the Trial of Valor is⊠Odyn, again. Under literally the exact same pretense - âprove your worth to me.â What, so the Halls of Valor didnât count? At all?
As for my contribution to the topic, ANY instance of âprove your worth to meâ is something Iâll hope never to hear again. Just get to the point.

Like, for all I know that might actually be the official pronunciation, but I refuse to say it that way. Iâll happily add it to the pile of official pronunciations that sound so awful I cannot bring myself to say them (alongside âTee-dusâ).
For me it will always be âTi-ran-dayâ or just âTi-rand.â
