I don’t even have 5 hours a day to play right now, so it wouldn’t really affect me. That said, were I to ever magically get a full day to just play wow it would annoy me to no end that the option to play all day didn’t exist.

yeah because to stay caught up with gear you really only need 1-2hrs a day if you know what youre doing.
Also something i notice is only people getting “burn out” is casuals who dont raid, M+ push or anything they just kinda afk and do quests

Let’s say Blizzard decided to prevent you from playing more than 5 hours per day. When you hit 4 and 1/2 hours, you are warned and at the 5 hour mark, you are logged off.

Would you still keep subscribing to WoW?

I’m not proposing this. But, after 2 decades of Blizzard struggling to keep up with players whom burn through months of content in mere days, I wouldn’t put it past Blizzard to just lock all of you out after 5 hours of play per day.

I would still subscribe. I never play for 5+ hours a day. I know this will rub many here the wrong way, but I cannot believe there is anything close to healthy about playing a video game for 5+ hours in one day. If I ever found I got to that point, I would seriously consider changing my lifestyle.

I’m lucky if I play five hours a week…

This. I wish i could get 5 hours per day. But alas i like to make money and have nice things. Not to mention be self sufficient and have my own home and nice truck.

There have been times in my life when my actual circumstances only allowed me to play 1 hour a day, and I still played. So yes. Might be part of the reason I’m such an advocate for casuals.
