Any updates? It was originally said that it would be sporadic over a couple weeks, then it got opened for a couple hours on 3 different days and radio silence since?
I get that Cata is a mess right now and it’s probably all hands on deck but it would be nice to get some kind of acknowledgement here

It’s not disingenuous in the slightest. This is the essence of the PVP server experience. This is why they exist. No one ever initiates unless they have overwhelming advantage, either levels, numbers or both.

Do you know what griefing is? Do you think I am referring to ALL PVP as griefing?
This is exactly why the argument is disingenuous. There’s nuance, and refusing to acknowledge it is leading to poor arguments and arguing with feelings, rather than fact.
What’s disingenuous is pretending that griefing isn’t a core part of the PVP server experience.
It’s actually against the TOS/EULA. So… it isn’t. Blizzard will ban you for it if you do it excessively.

whats funny is idc about getting griefed in pvp. thats what i signed up for when i picked pvp. my issue is all my friends transferring off my server while i was out of town. now im stuck all alone with no reason to pay for another sub. 13 days left before expiration and i will not be resubbing if it doesnt reopen by then.

My main issue too, the 2 friends I was playing with regularly were able to transfer and then I got on in the morning and the transfers were closed.
The griefing is just a secondary issue, but I do believe Blizzard should put some effort into reducing it. There’s a few ways they could go about it to improve the quality of the server for everyone, less likely to run into issues like this in the future.

I think Blizzard 100% gave their answer by upping exp rate. They don’t care about the player base that they have damaged by this and just want to look at metrics. Just vote with your sub and let it run out so they can figure out why the servers aren’t 50/50 anymore.

u know whats truly disingenuous … a staff member flagging one of your posts in this thread, removing it and still not giving the community an update that they’ve been waiting for over 2 weeks to get. they can troll the comments, read them, flag them, know that we want/need an update and clearly something random in my post is more offensive than going half a subscription w/out updating your player base who are paying to be treated this way. gotta love the customer service from this company. when can we flag them back for offensive disregard for the community? i wanna know that…
