I get wanting an update, but itâs probably âweâre analyzing previous moves and evaluating while all hands are on deck for Cataclysm launch.â Being split up from guildmates who didnât/couldnât wait on you is frustrating, but the complaining about PVP servers in general is hilarious. They didnât force you onto a PVP server, you picked it at character select and all the BS that goes with it is well-known.

I picked it because blizz said theyâll be balancing factions so I thought the griefing wouldnât be that bad.
Then they invented incursions and completely ignored balancing layers. So now the majority of layers are just one faction outnumbering the other 10-1 and you have to layer swap to accomplish anything.
We can deal with the occasional ganking here and there. Not being camped by 2 40 man raids of lvl 50âs farming lvl 40âs for 4 hours straight until you either layer hop or log off.

people also dont understand that on launch you COULDNT create characters on some servers. que times were insane and they locked almost instantly. so yeah, i dont mind pvp on a pvp server at all. but getting camped at mara/incursions when you just want to play is griefing.

I saw a post from yesterday that Lava Lash EU can transfer to Wild Growth or Crusader Striker. Can Lava Lash US do the same please!!!

Hey, Blizzard. I just want to say. I think itâs time that you take a serious look at making PVP servers less griefable and start punishing people for it. There are literally dozens of games out there that do PVP out in the open world better than you do, and itâs significantly more enjoyable.
You keep doing these PVE vs PVP servers and it just splits the playerbase every time. Servers constantly dying. And now youâre punishing players by not letting them play with their friends for your mistake.
I joined PVP servers because you said youâd make an effort to balance them. I figured the griefing couldnât be too bad and wanted to play. Now Iâm just getting Shadow priest dots thrown on me as I run through the world with zero counterplay.
Is it that hard to admit that maybe, maybe the way youâve done warmode and PVP in the past needs some better restrictions on it so that people arenât just running around acting like sadist degenerates? Like, oh I donât know. Giving people dishonorable kills for killing low levels, and then making those dishonorable kills limit your access to auction houses, or safe spaces, or flight paths or something ? Thereâs dozens of other games that have done PVP better than you. Maybe itâs time to start looking at some of them. Even EVE does it better, and people literally make a living in that game being pirates and camping you.
Thereâs like zero punishments for anyone that just sits there and kills you over and over. Yet when people want to leave the server after weeks, or months of this shiet. You screw over thousands of people playing with their friends and guilds who are now split up.

Let us transfer to PVE, no one cares about faction balance in PVE.

I picked it at character select because my friends picked that server. Now theyâve transferred off so now I have no friends to play with on a toxic pvp server with 24/7 griefing. But yeah, Iâll make sure to never play on another wow pvp server.

Eh I prefer being on a PvP server but at the end of the day I would prefer to play with my friend and since he moved off thatâs what Iâm trying to do now.

my friend missed the last transfer window by 2minutes and so weâve been slaves to refreshing this page since thursday. please give us literally any update, weâre ready to be put out of our misery.

Well thatâs enough waiting for me. Iâve cancelled both of my subscriptions because my friends all transferred and I wasnât home during the brief transfer windows.

I never post on forums and usually just deal with it when it comes to blizzâs lack of communication or lack of quality for profit, but dude wtf is this. Yall killed servers before a weekend and donât even reach out to communicate, i already know there will be no retention once cata launches.
