I can’t like this enough. We have all these vendors of useless white gear. Make some questlines for them. Also make the white gear they sell transmogable.

guild? I’ve got my hands full running this one as it is now that I work and all that.
If they want to revive old capital cities, they need to create activity in and around them - just like real life cities.
They should rebuild them to be quest zones like SL’s “worlds”. The “safe zone” in the center will be where players restock and partake in other services - simply because it’s the closest.
How to keep them relevant though is a separate question. There will need to be constant new content in the area to keep people there.

Don’t most of the old city’s have AH already expect maybe Shatt? I think Exodar and Silvermoon might not have AH as well but still most of the old city’s have AH.
Exodar’s AH to bank run is maybe the most convenient in all the old capitals. Literally next door. I camped my bank alt there for quite a long time.

Yeah the focus on end-game content only is abhorrent imo. Players enjoy things other than grinding the newest zones and pushing our ilvl. Blizz refuses to acknowledge this other than making old content slightly relevant… but only so players can easily push to max level to start new stuff.

I saw a video where someone was speculating that maybe that was the intention.

I think of this every patch. Why is all new content tuned for max level? Wouldn’t they get more mileage out of new content if any level could do it? Imagine starting someone in Shadowlands at 10, and letting them play the expansion all the way to 60. Tweak the XP gains so that they hit 50 before Revendreth, and ding 60 either the quest before, or quest after, discovering the source of the anima drought.
