My pet is also grayed out
As Everyone else having the same issue as me… I am glad i am not the only one… I did ticket this btw… it is the same log in bug that is going on with the mount as well… I learned the pet before the reset happened, then got on 2 other toons real quick for the event. the battle pet says it is locked and grayed out.
Mine is not only grayed out, it’s also “redded” out with a big fat red text saying “REVOKED”.

apparently if you logged out before the reset it only affects you… weird.
You would think with as aggressively as they kept advertising this pet along with the mount months before this event hit … that if NOTHING else, these would be the two things that functioned.
But nah.
Same thung happened to me I logged in got the pet learned it then logged out for a while then logged back in for it to be greyed out and says “locked”.
Same problem.Logged out and came back later and now my Lil’ Nefarian pet is grayed out and says Battle Pet is Locked when my cursor is on the summon button.

My pet is grayed out, but shows the experience bar and abilities as if you’d have the pet unlocked. I can even click on his icon on the right side and move it into one of the pet battle slots (though nothing happens).
The rest of it is the same as Melantha.

I did see that the Mount also had the same log glitch. I learned the mount, put it on my bars on the toon i am using, then logged out into a different toon, so far, no glitch, i even realmed hopped, so the only problem is the battle pet

Same issue here, Had him Logged out, wanted to show the Wife and its locked/greyed out saying pet is battle locked.
Mine is grayed out and I cannot move it into a battle pet slot.
Mine is greyed out too, got him on this character and was able to summon him earlier. Can’t do that or add to a battle pet slot. I can favourite him or unfavourite him. My husband is having the same issues as well.
I logged in a few minutes ago to apply my Bronzetinted Sunglasses transmog and figured to check to see if Lil’ Nefarion was still bugged. And I could summon him again, so maybe they are fixing the bugs?
The PvP event is bugged, the PvE queue is bugged… it’s like they released some really early “save my progress before I go home” version of the event.

lil’ nefarion is still locked…
When I try and add the pet to my collection I get a red message that says:
“Can’t add companion to your account”
Been that way all day and night
