LIkely Horde will be getting Alliance Skeletons AR in SL

Night elves like you was the reason behind burning teldrassil.

i’m trying to get over that they made the female venthyr look like a guy in a wig. even the bald orc female is more feminine looking than a venthyr female. as a result, i fear you may be right, cause the devs dont want female players with alliance mains, actually enjoying the game lol okay that might be exaggerated but not much. our last 3 races featured a very short woman with mechanically mangled limbs, a woman who forgot to exercise, and another very short woman with her hair on fire. i…i dont think the devs like us. lol

Not my Alliance Fauns… :sob:

Who made up the rule that 2 races couldn’t match one race? Necrolords are more straight scourge than Forsaken but Forsaken are undead. So Forsaken.

Forsaken use fantasy/vampire architecture right now. Sleep in a coffin in a Forsaken inn anyone?

Worgen have a more realistic type of medieval architecture that I don’t even think counts as genuine “gothic” realistically.

Worgen aren’t really gloomy and dark in attitude like the Venthyr or Forsaken are.

Theres no way that Blizzard would spend 15 years shoving the faction themes down our throats, even revamping Orgrimmar and giving the Horde new architecture all over the place between all of their races… and then giving the Alliance nothing in return, to only just say “for this one time… for a sweet race, we’ll break the cycle.”

The Horde can’t take the resting place our Night Elf cenarius… Our Drust Druids connected realm, and our Druidic dominated culture’s death realm… :rage:

Blizzard is most likely to stick with the themes anyways. Night Fae for Alliance. Kirian for Alliance. Venthyr for Horde. Necrolord for Horde.

Everyone knows that your character joining the Venthyr covenant in Shadowlands aesthetically makes the most sense. I even think that Forsaken are so neutral here that they could join either one and fit right at home.

Any Night Elf that doesn’t join the Night Fae is no longer a Night Elf.

Thats like reverse kul tiran’s , even undeader forsaken . yes I said undeader

Yes. There are also examples of female Mogu in one of the raids. They’re female Draenei basically.

I don’t think we need to swap or use the skeletons though, which is evident by the Kul Tirans.

Not all of the models need or should be swapped. Only Night Elves and Void Elves were swapped. Aside from those 2 Blizzard never continued model swapping for the factions.

Night Fae being Draenei models isn’t a point of which faction they should go to. It’s just the connection of the Druidic Night Elves, the Alliance being “lame non-spikey” races that get the Fauns in the first place.

Heard alliance are getting…

Au Draenei
Man’ari Eredar
Broken Draenei

Also T’paartos will be our leveling companion in the Shadowlands, and I’m ok with all of this

Its ok, alliance will get heaps of horse…ugh…i mean unicorn mounts.

oh p.s. i dont know if the venthyr would technically work with worgen but they do share the correct era of popular lore. cause its supposed to be vamps vs. werewolves. i mean, technically.

what about the idea they become lightforged somehow, by calia menethil? i just dont like the idea of pure white models. and ruins the option for dark rangers, presumably, since big dark ranger feature = red eyes, which lightforging would remove . yeah?

Horde vs Alliance.

Let me give you some advice don’t let Tyrande talk to any of the new races.

yeah thats what i thought too

Source?

Honestly, I don’t think there will be anything added except for character customization in Shadowlands.

There is one single example of a LF undead in the WoW universe and it took the combined effort of two of the top three priests in WoW along with a naaru to create. I highly doubt more are coming any time soon.

Blizzard’s 15 years of class restrictions, Alliance getting themed races, the Horde getting spikey bois (venthyr), and keeping the Alliance as special fairies. So now we get the special fairy race to go with the Alliance culture Blizzard made for us.

Allied Races aren’t over yet and Blizzard said it’s not done.

Blizzard also said no allied races in Shadowlands.

They said the contrary. Where did they say no AR’s in Shadowlands?

Nobody did, that’s why I said unlikely not can’t.

Yes. That’s why I said Horde side they matched the Forsaken best.

Worgen architecture isn’t medieval at all, it’s more Georgian, and Forsaken is more Victorian. Both though reasonably match up to the high gothic of the Venthir.

They haven’t they have been spending the last few years trying to break those themes. Or gave you forgotten the evil Dwarves and anti-Light elves they gave to the Alliance and the elven nobility they gave to the Horde.

Cool, then nobody gets them or they are neutral.

My actual money is on none of the covenants being ARs because they can’t exist in the living world.

See previous point about them breaking those themes the last few years. Blizz has been trying hard to prove the factions aren’t just the pidgeon holes they have been in in the past.

My character us a Troll hunter. She will be going Night Fae, because that is where her Loa is and her class is centered around nature and the wild places. Thematically that’s where she belongs. I think class should have a larger bearing on your covenant than race. My Nelf Warrior for instance will be Necrolord because strength and war is all she knows.

Then go play Horde if they get better stuff in your opinion. Not everyone agrees with you. All these “the other faction gets got a better toy than we did” really should stop. Stop complaining about everything and go play the other faction if they have better stuff.

For the Venthir? No, the Venthir don’t seem to be the type to care about redemption or being good. From what I have seen they are all about being arrogant and indulgent. We still don’t know what role Calia will play or if she will be in the Shadowlands.
