Was it a fever dream that I had, or at some point had they said that Renown was going to be shared accountwide? It’s clearly not the case now, but I could’ve sworn they said it was going to be.
OP, isn’t it rather telling that so many people here are just telling you to stop playing the game for a while so that the ILLUSION of things to do somehow emerges?
Well, some of the rewards are shared (to the point that some are useless goals for alts, like dragon customization parts), but the renown levels themselves are not.
That may be the point. Get a few more people checking raids and dungeons out.
As for the soon part, I don’t think so. Some of us casuals are more the truest sense of the word. My highest renown is 7, I still got plenty of quests to do, alts to mess with and more things to enjoy as I unlock them. Casuals are not just people that don’t raid or do M+, but gargle the rest of the content down like a champ. Some actually don’t spend all day online.
You are why they put never ending ap grinds into the game. Touch grass
Everyone called me crazy for saying that there wasn’t much to do at 70 and they need to make World Quests daily again. Glad to see everyone else is starting to see how little there really is to do.
WQs need to be daily/bi-daily.
Raid should’ve released a week ago, casuals can be casuals. let us endgamers actually play. I’m burnt out already and its not even been 2 weeks.
Dont want rep grinds, don’t want timegating, just let us play the darned game how we want, and everyone else how they want. Some of us don’t care about alts. We play a main, and maybe one alt.
You’ve also got Loremaster & max professions?
If you actually done ALL the content in DF then you play more than a few hours a week.
I like to do Satchels when they’re up, but they hardly ever seem to be up anymore even though DPS queues are 10m+. It also splits up the monotony of farming in world content or whatever it is you’re doing in-between.
They need to lower the threshold for these to pop by quite a bit I think. Even if they were up constantly you make less gold from satchels than just mining or herbing in the same time period. The rune prices would drop, but I don’t think that’s a big deal considering they’re moving towards 1k per rune for tomorrow.
Making your own fun in the game is often a sign that the game is boring you. It can be effective for an occasional change, but it’s not a good sign if you find yourself doing it often.
As a fairly neutral observer (because I haven’t bought DF), it does kind of raise a flag and bring back memories of WoD when people are complaining this early about a lack of things that they want to do. And just like then, two VERY common suggestions that I am already seeing from people are to “play alts” and “play old content”.
To be fair, the content is not all open yet, so that will have an impact… but there is still the uneasy feeling that I have seen this before. And it didn’t end well.
If you can’t find things to do, that’s a you problem. There’s a ton of outdoor content; you’re just programmed to do world quest sweeps and call it “content”.
Totally agree. I’m guessing the people saying “there’s no content” don’t pvp or craft. I can barely keep up between my crafting and trying to find mats to buy all the reputation vendor stuff.
Lol literally say you need a break from stuff to do in the game, there is plenty to do you just don’t wanna do it. Keep in mind this is all before raid/mythic arena seasons even RELEASED ![]()
There is no content that’s why lmafo
Replaying old content =/= content
You’re not even level 70 yet you are still level 60 and your trolling on the forums
So basically “I know the expac released not long ago, and has little to no content updates yet, but im gonna complain that I dont have enough to do because I simply dont WANT to do any of the other stuff thats offered”, got it. Move along please.
I’m a casual player in the sense that I don’t care about mythic raiding, I don’t PvP or care about professions. The way I enjoy WoW is through dungeons and LFR. I mean, casual is a very loose term anyways and it’s going to mean something different to everyone. Some folks speed through questing while others take their time and read every quest text.
I find it very weird when people suggest leveling alts or professions as content because it’s not.
I’m not looking for an endless AP grind like from legion or Shadowloands, but I do wish there were more things to do in the world that weren’t tied to player power. Like, I absolutely love that I don’t have to do dragon riding to get my legendary for example. There just needs to be more dragon riding style-like content that’s fun to do if they’re going to continue down this path. Not talking about chores, but just more end game content.
Let’s not pretend literally any form of new content with a reward system wouldn’t get dismissively called a “system” by half the playerbase. We love our useless buzzwords.
SO basically what you’ve said is,
I only consider content i like doing content and if I don’t enjoy/want to do it then its not content.
I will choose not to do what is available and then come on the forums to complain about having nothing to do.
Saying professions/pvp/quests is not content is being disingenuous because there is content but you just don’t want to do it
, you also posted this thread 2 days before the release of S1 ![]()
Theres a few tiers of casual players. I’m a casual player, play a 3-6 hours a week and I’m still leveling up. If you do take your time and play casually I think there’s plenty to do and collect. Also likely you don’t PvP, in the old days when things were simpler most did PvP and PVE. We also did PvP for the enjoyment of it, it wasn’t just to get the gear then stop with nothing to do. Last few expansions there’s been so much to do to get borrowed power and other systems that we never got to enjoy the basics of PVP.
