Honestly I wouldn’t even mind a reskin. Right now LFD pallies use the same mount as draenei pallies. If Dark Irons get a different skin from dwarves, can’t LFD get something new, too?
But if they’re going to put in the work for a reskin, I would much prefer something that can actually fit through a door… I like the talbuk idea that others have suggested.
I wouldn’t even go as far as saying only Horde gets new models this time, as blood elves currently use a reskinned human charger, and they changed the dwarf charger to a ram once they made it for the Dark Irons.
If they want to be bad and not give LFD’s a unique mount, at least a lightforged themed one would be better than JUST a regular one.
The reason the blood elves have a red horse is because originally the blood knights were an antithesis to the Silver Hand and had a dark charger to show their anti-hero status as well as to mock the Silver Hand’s pious faith in the Light while they wielded it by force (or so they thought).
They should change it to a holy chicken mount. Tons of things have changed/happened in lore, class/race restrictions lessened, story progressed. It would make total sense if blood elves started riding paladin versions of the mount most easily obtained in Silvermoon (apparantly).
“So we finally get to see the Zandalari paladin mount and it’s pretty sick. Now every race has their own version of the paladin charger…except for lightforged, whom still use the original draenei version”
I agree completely, seems pretty lame to have the standard BC Pally mount. Why not a LightForged Warframe, or the very least one of the Lightforged Mounts as was said above. Please fix this Blizz, pretty lame to charge a player in arena on my purple elephant.
Did they ever get something other than a horse? Or are they still stuck with a horse. Been so long since I looked on my BE Paladin. Only horse I am going to use on this character is Rivendares Charger.
Nobody wants a goofy horse for their LF though. We want a Holy Talbuk.
What’s funny to me is, there are no elephants on Argus except for the ones that come from the paragon cache. The quartermaster sells talbuks and talbuks are in the wild. This is genuinely a case of Blizzard being lazy
