They’re even twisting someone else’s words now. He didn’t say customization was bad, just that both factions having the same customizations was…
Serial liker is here again, by the way.
Edit: RUUUN!
So many likes!!
It’s inferred. If I wanted to insult Horde players, I would have said “horde players are immature”, but that of course doesn’t fit your narrative which is why you’re putting words into my mouth.
I’m running out of scooby doo gifs.
Actually, no I’m not. I linked the dictionary right there, with the word you used. It’s OK to admit you’re wrong. And you then decided to go right to insulting me when I pointed it out. So… yeah. You could have just said, “I MEANT this…” but no, you went right to insulting me. Therefore, nope, not cutting it.
Edit, unrelated to what I said in the second part: There he gooooes!
Ooch, I really hope not.
Honestly, if the Alliance were to have undeath in any form among their allies, I would hope that they’d explore the Drust Wickermen instead.
They’re undead that were forcefully cursed and reanimated, but they fit better with the Alliance aesthetic (they’re not bone-y or rotting) and we just had an entire zone dedicated to the magic that makes them work (whereas Calia’s lore is mostly out-of-game).
More customization can be added to each race on the faction they’re already on. The Lightbound look could be added as an option for Forsaken players on Horde, or heck, add the LB Undead as an allied race to the Horde.
What you’re suggesting is customization that will negatively impact the feel of each faction. At this point you’re just playing dress-up with no regard to substance…
Also, I think I’ve proven my point. I’m going to end this now by saying this stuff, and then mute the thread, because I’m done with the arguments.
- I speak for myself and myself alone. I dislike the concept of LF undead for the reasons I said above.
- I don’t fault you for wanting them, or think of you any less. I simply disagree.
- Going right to insulting people that disagree with you, then lashing out when you’re proven wrong, does not give a good outlook. If you want to defend an idea, you can do it with reasoning, not attacking of the person.
- You’re going to have people will disagree with you. It’s best to say, “I don’t see it that way, I see it this way, and disagree with the points you gave for these reasons.”
- If someone does insult you? Don’t insult them back and most definitely don’t be the one to start the insults.
- It’s ok to admit when you’re wrong.
Words of wisdom, take them or leave them. Have a nice day.
I want to see lightbound undead
Stop typing Helena. Your ideas suck. The game would suck if you were in charge.
This is an example of what I was saying, though. Just saying. sigh You’re also not making a good point here.
Oh, you mean that dictionary entry that has nothing to do with the topic at hand? You linked to the definition of being used in the context of “a human being” which has nothing to do with what I’m arguing, but anyway, it’s really weird how you snapped over me saying that Horde players were being immature in this thread as if it’s a new and unprecedented behavior for either sides.
But anyway, have a nice day!
You should practice what you preach.
How/why would they be an Alliance AR though?
The Forsaken are a faction within the Horde because of the Humans. So, unless Stormwind leaves the Alliance, I don’t see how giving the undead yellow, glowing tattoos will change things.
If you’re on the Horde, go talk to Blightcaller in Dazar’alor, he’ll tell you all about it.
Here:
I have no issues with lightbound undead, but as an Alliance only player I sure as fel hope they are NOT an Alliance race.
I loved it, and still think there’s a very good chance they could be a thing in 8.4 or something!
Well they have to do something with the Forsaken now that they’re being taken to their long prolonged, logical final conclusion. And… frankly, it’s long past time they got something other than “GENOCIDE ALL THE THINGS!!! =D” as a narrative. That was never a sustainable angle to begin with - the amazing thing is they got away with it for so long.
We already had a force of omnicidal undead in the Scourge. We already had advocates for a zombie apocalypse. The Forsaken’s entire “death to the living!” plot was entirely redundant and a waste of a race that could have been so much more unique and dramatic than that.
But at least with the current set up they have essentially no way to not evolve past that at this point. Unless it ends on a WoD note, and the Night Elves just shrug and let the Forsaken just keep on keeping on with their whole thing, something has to change. Calia, “Lightforged” undead - whatever it is, I hope that something is drastic, dramatic, and wholly transformative.
It’s no longer April fools nor is it Sunday.
Are you really making the argument that the forsaken model is desirable?
