Foxes are just weird dogs, will they eventually be pets? And I mean common pets not wild animals that those cursed facebook people take home and post a lost dog ad about.
I thought foxes are said to be more closely related to a cat then a dog, but are neither.
Well if a fox wants to lick something
Foxes are vulpines specifically.
And some people already keep pet domesticated foxes (they’re the result of a Russian genetic experiment); from what I understand they act like a mix between a dog and a cat behaviourally.
I hope some day I can have a pet fox. ;w; 
If I ever do get a pet fox though it’ll be a long time until that day (need to get my career going first and foremost so I could even afford to take care of a fox, but also in Canada I don’t think they’re legal to keep as pets (not even the domesticated ones) so I’d have to move to America (which I may have to do anyway at some point for the sake of my career, but we’ll see)).
But hopefully some day I can have a pet fox.
