You matter to me. Without LFR players I wouldn’t have my brief moment of comic relief upon seeing 60% of the raid die to the first Torment on Soulrender.

You literally get all the shards with the exact same stats, you get domination socket gear and you get some nicer skins than the normal and heroic players.

You don’t get shards from lfr if you’ve cleared them on higher difficulties. They’re just so LFR would get them too.

I keep hearing that people who do LFR would quit as soon as it was released if it was released at the same time as regular raids, while if it is very delayed they will continue to subscribe throughout the expansion. Unlike raiders, who often quit after getting in their kill and go play some other games.

LFR is the only thing that should matter. If you’re allowed to pick who you’re going to end up in a group with, it’s kinda like cheating IMO because then you can choose to group only with good players, and where’s the skill in that?
With out lfr i wouldn’t have understood how mental illness effect the raid and how a family coups with a child that is unsettle , out of control,but it did make me laugh and no one really cared about the accidental pull of the end boss.
To be honest, if you’re not part of some Esport project of Blizzard’s you don’t matter.
If you’re not a member of Method or Limit, or in the Blizzcon Arena Finals, or the M+ competition finals? Yeah… you really don’t matter to them. You’re just a participation metric.

agree that lfr should come out faster
at different times lfr has been a major endgame pursuit for casual players
right now the rewards from it are pushed so low that it is some limbo where it might still be an endgame for some players and is some throw away activity for most
apparently lfr players don’t buy cash shop gold much cuz it is clearly being pushed aside by the devs in favor of anything that requires manual grouping

LFR isn’t a “game mode” or gearing path.
LFR was added in just as a way for folks that don’t have time to raid to be able to see the story and development work.
It’s literally just a spectator mode.
I’m not saying this to be harsh, heck, I’m not even a big raider. I’m just saying it bc a lot of people don’t recall why LFR was put into the game and seem to think its its own difficulty level or tier of play.
It’s simply meant as a way for non-raiders to see what a raid looks like w hardly any difficulty.
If they showing the story in quests, that’s fine too.

they did that with LFR Dragon Soul, or I think it was unlocked fully within 2 weeks
they regretted that mistake and hence why its now unlocked the way it is now
why does it drop gear then
