Lfr is bad for the game

Dude. So right! This is what happens when you try to cater to people who dont actually play the game.

I am kinda torn on this. On one hand a single difficulty does allow better progression and a more natural flow but I didn’t find the old normal/heroic system that strenuous on it in wrath.

I will post this again since I occasionally see people liking the comment I made like 3 weeks ago:

LFR is not bad for the game. It is the perfect way to learn the Raid mechanics before hopping into Normal, and I am sure this is exactly what it is implemented for, to practice and get to know the fights

The problem with that linear progression was that only a small percentage of players ever saw all the content. Financially that was a bad idea, so Blizzard had to change things. Also, it created a lot of elitism, and negative social aspects. Things like people being poached from guilds, or jumping ship to another guild once they “mined” the guild for all they could get.

The days of raids being the domain of the few are gone. And there are still people who are salty about that.

You’re pretending to be a decent human being, when what you really get pleasure from is forcing other people to play with you who want nothing to do with you or your control fetish.

Hint: if you never play any solo parts of the game, that means you don’t like very much of the game at all.

What mechanics? 30 clueless people tunneling the boss? I doubt most LFR groups could down Ghuun, a fight that take coordination and communication.

That’s why you love your participation trophies so much, eh?

Are they paying this guy by the post or something?

Get over yourself. You and your little ‘controlling issues’. Don’t bring your personal anxiety garbo to the game.

Hint: This game is entirely solo right now.

Oh “but you can group and all lul kek”.

?
What are you talking about?

Didn’t a boss in legion not spawn in lfr because the fight was considered to hard?

How is that teaching?

See this argument doesn’t make sense… you realize that right?

Financially the game never made more then when it had linear progression… guild pouching hasn’t changed at all either.

It kinda feels like you are just attacking a strawman with buzz words at this point.

Sorry, but it was Blizzard themselves who openly stated it was financially a bad idea that only a small percentage of the playerbase saw the raids. They know their numbers better than we do.

Be Careful when i said socialism invaded Wow i got a three day ban from forums…

I know 12 is bigger then being generous 2.

We know LFR is the best for everyone in game!!! I love LFR it gives me ability to do raids I could not do otherwise cuz I am casual my guild ones are always full and no raids in normal or herioc will take me…

So I am stuck having to use LFR which is super fun and allows me to see the story that i would be banned from seeing otherwise.

To all you haters sorry but LFR is here to stay.

People who bash on aspects of the game constantly, crying to have it removed or gutted … THOSE are the things that are BAD for the game.

LFR needs work, yes, but it is NOT bad for the game.

It is the HATEMONGERS that are bad for the game.

If this had any merit at all, they wouldnt allow the selling of runs. That person does nothing and is given all of the loot.

Oh now I know who you are.

Blizzard ties important parts of the expansion story to the raids. LFR makes it possible for everyone to experience these parts of the story. You cant lockout a large portion of the player base from important expansion content they have designed around the raids. Many players are not interested in raiding above lfr belive it or not.

No, they weren’t. You’re deliberately mischaracterizing the situation. Link to your claim that LFR was created because of a groundswell of demand by people who were asking to only “see” a raid and be rewarded by nothing but the privilege of being allowed to be there.

I don’t care reasonable you claim your position is, when your own words go against it.

From everything I have read, this was a business decision made by devs to create profit.
