I personally don’t have an issue with LFD, but there does appear to be people with big issues over it.

You are pretty blind if you actually believe anything you posted. Mist be trolling. Tbc servers were all full and many had wait times just to log in. Ppl started askimg for lid tool to help so they could join groups and have fun with other players quickly. They asked for dual spec so they could play the game and enjoy it how they want.
They were ignored and they left. Gone. Most of the servers that were full are completly dead now. So whatever fantasy you habe about what the players want is wrong. But you heard someone else say what was great about the classic era so you just decide to jump on the bandwagon and joim in the repeating.
Players liked classic and tbc because it was more challenging than retail. The players got better and blizz kept making the game easier. Its impossible to die doing quests now in retail. Lfd and dual spec had nothong to do with anything other than a few changes that actually made the game better.

Its gonna take away people from LFG to turn down them down. Play wise…net effect to them is 0. as they turn people away. People they don’t play with since…scrubs. See they can keep using LFG with LFD to get that scrub free play they like.

Speaking as a retailer now more into tbcc classic…we’d know. Wrath is a very commonly looped exapc for mog/mounts lol. We fly here often…weekly.
By ICC raid? may as well go see arthas for ICC dungeon too. Some green or blue has not been claimed is pretty much a sure thing. I know where ICC dungeon is. LFD would not break this immersion.
Well it be no more immersion breaking as I have gotten really good at remembering detection radii. I have literally have picnics right by mobs.
their radii is say 25 feet. I…throw food and water picnic at 28 feet. Still well in draw distance but that 3 feet…allows me to enjoy my meal in peace.

Classic was dead after 1 year and SOM is dead already. Initial success doesnt make something a massive success.

SoM’s main seller was the no death achievement/acknowledgement imo. Which became a contentious thing.
Grouping with the dead is dead (DiD) folks got to be a pita.
We aren’t doing this, we cannot die. Dudes…sometimes you have to yolo it. We aren’t going to be picking off weaker content to keep you alive 100% guaranteed.
and thus…another group fell apart as I did try SOM. the more xp was also nice. When you got groups with no DiD peeps in it. tanks thinks he got it, well then we go off that. Tanks fails…oh well. Rez and redo. Gotta break eggs to make omelettes. and new tanks need to start out somewhere.

I agree; if we did not see Gearscores/item-levels, it would be better.
All we need to know when forming a group for dungeons is, in my eyes, the level, class, and whether they are tank, dps, or heal.
On this note, I feel the current version of the LFG tool in TBCC has this already. Does anyone know why the community at large does not seem to be using it (at least on my server)?
I’ve never bought a mage boost. I think mage and pally boosting should have been nerfed to death just as it was in SoM. Boosting is a cancer to the classic game.
People don’t use it because it’s unintuitive and not user friendly. There is an add-on that does it better. Blizzard just needs to improve the UI and let people write detailed descriptions.

got my vote.
If you merge low pop servers, it’s not cross realm, they are now part of the same community and will bump into each other and have no restrictions on grouping. I quit WoW in cataclysm in part because of garbage like LFD and LFR, I’ve always acknowledged it for the cancer it was on the community aspect of the game.
I mean we’re getting lfd in wotlk anyways…

The retail LFG is NOT a WotLK feature.
