LFG / No LFG, Lets meet in the middle

The dungeon list in Retail is actually a solid compromise to random LFG that teleports you to the instance.

Its basically an updated and much cleaner version of the garbage one we have in TBCC.

Post your dungeon, people apply, and you accept. Then you all run to the dungeon and summon from there. Pick the classes, people, and role you want. You get to see their ilevel (gearscore in WOTLK) and what server they play on. Make it cross realm with a feature to block non servers from applying. That way players who do not wish to interact with other servers don’t have too.

I think it would be a perfect fit for WOTLK that would keep the game more community focused than the LFG Random dungeon finder WOTLK will usher in.

This is where that element falls down. LFD’s biggest advantage is that no-one can gatekeep their groups, and the system matches similar gear levels (as best it can). Instead of “I want ICC raid geared people with a gearscore of fifteen thousand” “You’re doing Utgarde Keep normal”.

This here is the perfect compromise. Hopefully blizzard wises up and listens to this advice. Remember, all these retail tourists crying and begging for LFD are the same people who said classic WoW would be a total flop and begged blizzard to not open the servers. I see all these whiners still playing classic despite the lack of retail features that claim they want. If they quit classic they will just go back to retail. They are a customer to blizzard whether or not they appease them.

Nope. Full LFD. No compromises, that’s just bad

LFD was literally in wrath. Get over it.

LFD was not in WOTLK for the majority of the expansion. Get over it.

How are people who are on different servers supposed to get summoned to these instances?

We either need connected realms or cross realm dungeon finder. One or the other. You can go back to the retail forum now sockpuppet.
:axe:

Easy, no cross realm. Dead servers merged. Problem solved.

But it was for half.

Neither was guild banks, 2.3 talents, 2.3 exp changes. Blizz shipped those day 1, the same way they’ll ship LFD day 1. Huff the copium.

Ok.

But we’re definitely getting LFD though.

It was not in for the majority of the expansion as it was progressing through patches and releasing new content. Most of that time LFD was in the game was during the content drought before the next expansion.

You just dismantled your own credibility. Guild banks came in phase 2 of tbc. Confirmed troll.

I am back in tbcc for the hope of LFD in wrath so prepping chars to 70 for it.

Its lacking, and the high rate of tagging as I was in tbcc start for the buzz period where dings that had me leave.

Begging in LFG channel 4 was/is not my thing. Also low level dungeons for xp to me should not need job interview levels of convo’s.

Tell us BM hunter why should we choose you over this other dude.

Well i am eager to handle any task and a team player. I bring 20+ years of gaming experience, 4 in wow retail. 12 in eve, 3 in warhammer online. I even have pet macro’s. My pet will not act stupid, its on a tight leash.

Whats your gear.

I have replaced 80% of my boosty communals from quest rewards/drops. So 80% of my gear is current expac for a level 62.

Denied.

the paradox of lfg I found. I want to get better gear. Cant get into LFG to get it. because my gear is lacking to get into normal to get the gear. Catch 22 much?

and, well retail has a case of the blahs but I will use that sub time left over lol.

Only because it wasn’t ready, as they said themselves. Otherwise it would have been in day 1. Exp changes were in day 1. 2.3 talents were in day 1. Revised 2.1 itemization changes were in day 1. 2.4 spirit regen changes were in day 1. 2.3 mount level changes were in day 1. But you go on and keep thinking that you’re not getting lfd on day one LOL

And do you have any evidence that LFD would be ready day one when the previous phases of content weren’t designed around it being in the game? Or that blizzard will definitely release a controversial system day one? lmfao

It is controversial for forum whiners, not controversial for actual players. Huff the copium.

99% of the whining on forums is retail players begging blizzard to add it into the game, the same people who thought classic would flop and didn’t want the servers to open. The people who fought for classic got what we wanted and are enjoying the game without it. Retail tourists are the loud minority.

Wait but the vast majority (99.999%) of true classic players want LFD along with 72.3% of retail tourists. It’s a confirmed desire by all to save classic wow. It’s true, I totally have the subjective opinion stats correct!
