LFG makes me wonder why I play this game

LFG this days is either multi-glads only inviting other multi-glads even at lower rating, multi-glads selling carries (who is buying carries for a game that barely anyone is playing), and then 200 cr players who don’t have a healer friend. The middle class is dead. I end up playing against glads anyway no matter the bracket.

I keep thinking there are other games with millions of players and a experience gradient for all levels and devs that put all of their effort into pvp, and I’m playing an abandoned mini game I wow with less players than most indy steam games.

I truly wish the devs cared enough to make pvp and lfg a thing again.

I honestly can’t be bothered with 3’s it’s the worst bracket in the game. I’m glad they introduced shuffle so I can just play the game.

LFG is the most outdated awful tool. The community is also just completely awful to the point devs are too afraid to interact with them. I imagine they prob just want to let PvP die slowly and focus on their new housing audience.

CR is king.

Funny cause I was getting spam declined by rival players for not having same cr when I started grinding it out. All the mglads are ruining the game though fosho

Yeah, actually. App to some low-mid rated group on an alt and don’t get an invite regardless of exp.

You would abandon that rival team in a few games anyway.

Yes lfg is like speed dating if it doesn’t work after few games just call it and hop to the next group no harm done

Until I got to my cr cap with them yeah, as all players do

Solo queue is the most fair and honest way to climb in modern times. 3s should just become legacy content and shuffle the main bracket. Shuffle already is the main bracket when it comes to unique players and activity tho.

Delete shuffle and make threes queueable solo or with a group

Most of the wow population cares very little for 3s and isn’t going back.

They went back to it pretty quick this patch. If anything blitz started dropping off

Nah shuffle is still ahead.

It is hilarious how much low experienced players blame glads for not inviting them, not untrue, but also they don’t invite eachother lol.

Sure, but just like in all other facets of your life you are too dumb to understand why.

People are so fragile over their cr it’s insane

Kennie already said it, but CR really matters.

This is why if you don’t have a roster of players you gotta que the season before you want to push or que right at the beginning.
Is the middle class dead? Yeah, I can agree with that. Playing arenas in cata or mop or even warlords to now; there is a huge difference in skill. Most people you face have gotten glad multiple times at all mmrs.

I will say the game is far less elitest. Gone are the “link your achievement” days that use to exist. People will invite you purely off your cr and give you a try now.

Yeah you’re really smart for understanding why shuffle is more popular. An actual genius.

I wouldn’t say I’m a genius for understanding it, I would say you’re a moron for not and coping for pretending it’s something it isn’t.

Na man you should be invited into Mensa.

LFG feels increasingly outdated for modern PvP.
Most competitive games today rely on accessible solo‑queue systems, and WoW’s Ranked Solo Shuffle clearly shows how much players prefer that structure. Despite this, WoW still places its primary prestige reward — the Gladiator title and flying mount — exclusively in 3v3.

Meanwhile, Shuffle has become the most‑played rated bracket by a wide margin, including among high‑level players and content creators.

It’s rare to see major PvP streamers consistently queuing 3v3 outside of coordinated team play. The issue is simple: most players don’t have stable partners for 3v3, and LFG doesn’t reliably solve that problem.

Shuffle succeeds because it removes the social and logistical barriers that prevent people from playing.

Many players on the forums argue that Gladiator should remain exclusive to 3v3 to preserve its prestige. I understand that perspective — but it also highlights the tension between tradition and the reality of how people actually play the game today.

My concern is that keeping the top reward locked behind a format with declining participation creates a disconnect between the game’s design and the community’s behavior. If Shuffle is the primary rated mode for most players, it seems reasonable to discuss whether it should eventually receive its own high‑end reward structure.

I expect strong opinions on this topic, but I think it’s a conversation worth having.
