Lfg empty since classic launch

Raid at a high level if you want a challenge in retail. You’re obviously never going to be challenged playing on an RP realm.

I’ll give an example. I got into a group as a tank for hogger. Low level. My priest went OOM and my dps was a bit too low and was missing a lot. Downed him but felt like a win for the team

Retail. I don’t really need help but people fly in and then fly out. No risk no talking and nothing to remember it’s very like a single player game. Fun but don’t have good memories either

There is nothing wrong with this. It’s waaaaay better than classics one difficulty for anything.

No it isn’t. If all these QoL features were as good as the forum dwellers here suggest, the game would not have lost more players than kept since the end of Wrath. They are better for you, they are not better for the majority of people that have played this game.

Retail probably will die and I’ll be a little sad. But the classic threads defending the faceroll content and tedium will keep me entertained well into naxx40 being cleared with blindfolds.

Frostbolt, frostbolt, wand, lower rank frostbolt, frostbolt… such skill/ much challenge!!1!

wtf are you talking about?

I’m leveling alts through world quests + dungeon queues. Mostly as dps. Queues take about 30-40 minutes, which is about normal for dps.

Popping BfA dungeons faster than this.

No problem getting LFR to pop.

Instant queues as tank.

All 100% normal.

They could fix the LFG and LFR easy , adjust the raid or dungeon to the raid or group , Ho healer NP dungeon adjusted no tank same thing … you would go from and hour or two que to minutes and you would also get more people using it…

I see tons of high keys in the group finder just like always. Not too many low level keys on there. Used the group finder today for a WQ in Shrine and it popped in under a minute like always for tank spec.

Eh, I think Naxx is actually gonna be harder than people give it credit for. MC/Onyxia/BWL are definitely easy, though.

It’s not because of classic - it is because we needs to take turtles to water and don’t have time for dungeons. Plus those poor turtle tikes need calligraphy.

For god’s sake, please remove turtle rep from pathfinder or let the weekly quests give turtle rep.

it’s only going to get worse from here
Phase 2 adding the honour system
Phase 3 adding Battlegrounds…

Not a great time to be a Retail player lol

Yup same thing last night. Retail is slowly careening towards a slow death…

They both suck at times for different reasons.
AKA the grass is not greener on the other side of the fence it’s just a different yard.

Who are you to decide what another individual enjoys in their free time? More importantly, why does it bother you so much? Please tell us, where on the doll does it hurt you what other people choose to do with their money?

It’s the logical conclusion. If Blizz designs the game to make it feel more like a single player game, then it’s trying to attract a market not very interested in the MMO playstyle.

I’m not the market for CoD, but I am not offended that CoD is not tailored for me, and I’m not raging that CoD is excluding my playstyle by not tuning the game in a direction that I would play. They would be wrong to cater to me because I am the wrong market to cater to for their game. There are players who are the wrong markets to cater to in WoW as well.

If a game tries too hard to cater to everyone, then it’ll lose so many players it’s forced to stop releasing subscription numbers because it was getting too embarrassing.

No, what you and several others constantly do is whine, moan and complain that others aren’t doing what you do. So the f what? Enjoy the game how you want, the options are there for you to do that. It hurts you in no way that casuals can play the game how they want. Your complaint is simply “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! FEED ME!”

You’ve provided no counterargument. I think a real discussion about what kinds of markets MMOs should target is an inconvenient conversation for you to have.

I’ve already HAD this argument before AND within this thread. Scroll up some. Several other threads to boot. Surf around, you’ll find’em. It’s ludicrous to keep bashing on the same nonsense. At this point, I refuse to administer medicine to the dead. The vast majority that operate with the mentality you have on this issue is that you’ve renounced all sense of reason and everyone else must simply convert to what you want them to. That is not how things work in a civil society, not even in regards to a video game. Frankly, it’s stupid. Good day.

You seem to be interpreting the concept of target markets as something akin to discrimination. Most videogames have target markets. WoW just happened to overbroaden theirs, and my post is about why that is. It’s the literal opposite of whining on a forum.

That argument only works if the target audience is the only audience or majority thereof. Guess what? It’s not. Blizzard knows this. It’s why they adapted their game to cater to everyone that does play it. People have made that same argument before in this thread and in several others. It falls flat on it’s face every time. You just want to argue for the sake of arguing. Also, no, I am not interpreting it the way you believe. However, what you and several others want done is exactly that, to discriminate against others simply to satisfy your own narrow views of how people should play a game. A game. I tell you what buttercup, foot the bill of my sub for the next 10 years. I’ll listen to your every word.
