I went through this about a year ago and finally got fed up and started a guild, attempting to keep it old school where people were social, had a dialogue inside and outside of game, and logged in to have fun with friends, not to check off tasks in their “I’m good at video games” checklist.
And its worked out really well. We’re all older and while we have a few exceptional players, we’re far from cutting edge. We are on track for AotC at 7/10H right now.
