people that didn’t read the thread.
Nothing tryhard about wanting to bring 5 useful group members instead of 4 useful members and 1 carry. And if you’re playing Ret, you’re always a carry.
I knew what I was doing rolling ret. I’m not the only spec affected by the meta. Please read the thread.
Welcome to classic where the player doesn’t matter and the best spec is made up.
You know at 60 it doesn’t exist. Just saying. Most people did not instance to level up in vanilla.
Why are you here complaining about not being invited to dungeons then? You literally rolled the most useless spec in the game for dungeons, when your class has 2 actually very in-demand specs, and you’re here whining about not getting into a dungeon.
I think it depends honestly since currently lots of people are leveling so you have a good selection of classes and people but that’s changing decently quickly. I went to do RFC on my tank and there wasn’t any groups looking until a priest decided to group with me.
Wait a few months and see when the leveling herd evens out and you either bring classes that aren’t optimal or most likely either wait a good while or don’t go.
But I can’t speak for max level stuff but I imagine it’ll be the same there. How many people will realistically be going through the same gear level brackets when you are when the crowd thins out? Not much from how I’m looking at it.
I don’t know how many times i’m supposed to say this, but i’m not the only spec affected by this.
What are you talking about. Groups are full of non clothies.
If you don’t put aoe in your lfg message I assume it’s a normal run.
I came to that conclusion by using my common sense
I guess the only thing you can really do about it is start yet another thread on the forums complaining about it.
Note that this isn’t just a melee problems. Warlocks are frequently excluded from these spellcleaves as well due to their inferior AoE capabilities.
When was he crying you stunted rat? Stop trying to cause problems where there are none.
He just said it gets old seeing it, literally saying what everyone else is thinking when they see people spamming for DPS only to be greeted with “yeah but we want a mage”
OP said that he did it and you told him to say its a normal run lol
Still haven’t grouped with a mage that has pulled over 22% of the damage in a dungeon. Last night in ZF it was me at 39%, mage at 22% and meme spec priest at 20% with the rest going to tank and healer. One would think a rogue wouldn’t be pulling 40% of the damage in such and aoe heavy dungeon, especially with no shaman and only blade flurry but that appears not the case.
I think mage is the new huntard and most have no clue what they’re doing.
His problem is easily solved by being specific or communicating more
Starting his own group
Or running with guild mates you mouth breathing bafoon
Which he clearly said he did. You stupid little stumpy idiot. Tear you apart little guy.
What? I suggested he make his own group. If you’re on the forums complaining about aoe meta, I assume you’re not going to start your own group to aoe dungeons.
When I say normal run, I mean traditional run. I forgot I have to break down everything these days to a T for some people
He clearly said he did so after my post, then conveniently complain about the healer leaving because his first group he made wasn’t an aoe group. LOL shut up
Aoe groups are for tryhards who don’t care about the game, only care about being 60 immediately. If all you did between lvl 20-60 is aoe grind dungeons, you’re a no life tryhard only interested in flexing e-peen to other no lifers about how quickly you leveled using 3 abilities as a Mage with other mages.
Aoe is not fun in a dungeon. Aoe isn’t difficult or challenging or rewarding.
Aoe has been identified as the path of least resistance to speedily hitting max level. People who play wow because it’s a game and enjoy it for that I would imagine have no interest in forming groups with multiples of the same classes, trivializing dungeon content by pulling everything and standing still while mages use their 3 abilities to nuke, and of course have no desire to play the game on Brain dead mode just to level faster even though we’re all gonna be 60 anyways.
With all that being said, I have had no issues forming groups, being invited to groups, enjoying the game how I like it. The aoe farming is simply something I find used by no life losers, but they’re entitled to play any way they like. In my experience, they’re not the majority, they’re the attention whoring loud minority looking to show off and conduct circle jerks. No issues at all.
Nothing’s stopping anyone from forming their own group of whatever composition they like.
