My favorite posts are the ones where every single clause raises more questions than it answers.
Such as the implication that not using warmode is directly unhealthy to the undead RP community.
Or the implication that this poster can speak to the level of activity in individual guilds without actually knowing when those guilds are active, presumably reducing them to doing a random /who at…[checks watch] 10 PM on a Monday when this post was made,
Or the implication that if the reader enjoys “getting together to sing kumbaya at Bloodhoof Village in non warmode side and have speeches,” their fun is wrong,
Or, in perhaps the crown jewel, the actually-rather-subtle-to-the-uninformed implication that the undead RP community would be better if they tolerated the alt-right.

I’ve been thinking about this since I posted.
A lot of us work 9 to 5s or something very close to it. As much as I’d like to stay up until dark o’thirty, I have to be up at 7. Why do we have to be on continuously to be a “good” population by whatever bizarre metric they’re using?

I play WoW sporadically at this point. Long gone are the days where I would live on WrA from 6 PM until 1 AM M-F and 11 AM to 3 AM on weekends. It doesn’t mean I don’t play, that I don’t have scheduled RP with plots or character development, or that I don’t do some PvP and PvE. I’m sure I’m not the only one who’s like this after 13+ years of playing the game.
(Also hi Q - we swapped back from Classic because a couple of guildies decided they didn’t really like it as much as they thought they would, and they were committed to some retail RP storylines. We’re on alliance.)

The DeathGuard of Sylvanas is still around, but we don’t go to major cities or attend non-Loyalist gatherings for obvious RP reasons. We had approached other Forsaken Guilds, but as far as we know all Forsaken Guilds, barring Shadows of Lordaeron and ours, have already bent the knee to Stormwind, so we do not RP with them.
We do have an upcoming PvP tournament, grand prize being 20k Gold, but again, Loyalists only. We are active, kind of, but will likely become more active once Shadowlands hits.

I’ll never understand how there’s always that one person in the room who RPs in warmode, and acts like every other person is doing RP wrong.
You never hear people screeching about RPing in warmode, but then there’s always that one person who comes in and gets discernibly upset that everyone else is doing RP incorrectly by not conforming to the vast minority, and turning on warmode while they RP. When I RP, I wanna RP. When I wanna PvP, I’ll PvP. I understand there are outliers here who want both at once- that’s fine. But don’t get all flustered that most people do not enjoy that interruption to their RP.

I figured! That’s alright. I felt awful dipping on the group at the time, but with two jobs i just had to make the most of what time i did have.

Royal Apothecary Society is still active. We have a greater numbers of members on during event nights.
We RP exclusively in Tarren Mill and Sludge Fields, though I am considering taking business trips to Orgrimmar to let folks know that we actually exist and do things.
Unfortunately due to holidays and pre-patch lull, we’re in a sort of slow period. As is expected.
