Most things in life aren’t based upon meritocracies unfortunately. That includes being best dps in your level range. Dont make it sound like poor dps is why the guy isnt going on level 60 arena runs. The issue is that they are farming bosses not trying to clear the instance.
At 53 you are going to add an hour onto the normal dungeon time due to how much agro you cause.
I’m an altoholic, so my highest toon is 37. But I’ve been on a lot of dungeon run.
If one player is lower than the others, they aggro a lot more mobs, a lot farther away. I’ve seen plenty of wipes because the lowest member in the party took 1 step back (away from the fight), and aggroed a different group of mobs behind them.
So if a group is all roughly the same level (no matter what level) and the group leader is smart, they won’t take a lower level player. They aren’t obligated to do that (no matter what OP says). Every group makes their own decisions. For me, that OFTEN means I can’t get in a group. When that happens, I go grind a level or 2, then ask again.
But I ALWAYS list my level right in the LFG channel, so I don’t get invited and then disbanded because I am too low. If I reply to a LFM request, I say “30 warlock” or “is a 34 warlock too low?”. That way I don’t get invited-then-dropped. And usually they politely whisper back “yes, too low. sorry!”
These dungeons were made for levels below 60. Being 60 without gear from level 50-58 dungeons isn’t going to make the dungeon any easier. Damage is dependent on gear.

It’s not that you can’t, it’s that you’ll pull additional mobs that 58+ won’t pull.
You can do it, you’ll just be slowing down your party, and the whole point of arena runs is quick 10-15 minute runs
Respec deep prot form your own group and tank BRD problem solved, I tanked imp as a 53, I admit the healer was almost hard carrying me despite my insanely good gear once we got past the torch room and hit on the boss was a joke for me making holding threat almost impossible but I did it.
Heck just go fury prot and advertise front half BRD runs and clear to the big fire ele and then go again, great exp good gold etc.
Anyone building a group is either after the HoJ or the savage piece and has 0.00000% interest in adding another warrior to the group regardless of what you tell them. Your agro radius is insane in BRD at your level 60s speed clearing are not interested in clearing mobs they don’t have to.
I started tanking Arena runs at 49, then forge dude at 53. Keep trying!
maybe got a bad realm? i grinded brd from lvl 52 to 60 and most members where 52-53, once we had a 50 healer
It has nothing to do with his abilities.
This is all about his agro radius at level 53. Arena/Anger speed runs take 10-15 min and most mobs are simply walked past at level 60. At 53, he’ll pull EVERY mob .
I gave away the first HOJ i saw to a guildy rogue, it wasn’t until run 168 I got HOJ, Saw SGC at 114 and lost it as I said before, havent seen one since, taking a break for a week or so before going back in.
Yeah, my guildie is in sort of the same boat. He’s just sick of logging on to do 5 resets then wait an hour before he can do anything else.
I feel bad for him. And, all the others who are farming it and feel like running any other dungeon and wasting a lock out is punishing.
