Wow it only takes you six hours to level? I must be playing wrong taking my time reading the quests and listening to the music

The timing on the fix is bad, but its the correct action for them to take.
Level 71 being a god while a 79 is a hard carry by them isn’t acceptable gameplay.

I have all those things and i work out and i volunteer AND kayak with my wife AND get 8 hours of sleep. Learn time management you spaz.
It was not the correct action to take.
The “problem” would have sorted itself out with time. The main issue is that characters are overgeared. This would stop being a problem once most people leveled their main character(s). After that, most characters are going to be hitting the expansion at like 100 ilvls lower than they are now.

This guy/gal has it all figured out.
For TWW, maybe. Very hard maybe.
That doesn’t fix the root of the issue though. In which fixing the root cause of the issue is and always is objectively the correct decision to make.
That’s the neat part. He won’t.
The leveling now is fine if you were at 480 iLvl around there at the end of DF, probably won’t be too difficult.
But if you’re a fresh baby 70 that’s at like 430 iLvl, you’re going to have some issues. Clearly, when Blizzard nerfed the leveling, it was only to stop the max iLvl DF people from annihilating things too fast. But for those of us that didn’t play DF that much or have made new alts to level (chromie), this is going to be a headache.
I think they over-corrected, but they’ll double down like they usually do and just say “git gud player!”
Ilvl shouldn’t even matter in the discussion it’s really about the principle of rewarding people who paid extra money while the rest of us get screwed
Slow leveling is a core mmoRPG element. If you don’t like it, maybe Mmos are not your game.
