Leveling playing Wrath of the Lich King

Coming back to the game after many years and much has changed. I apologize if the answer to this is really obvious.

I would like to level (from Level 1) playing Wrath of the Lich King. Is that possible? I see that I can log into Northrend but I ‘d rather start in Dun Morogh and take the scenic route. Am I missing something or is anything other than Vanilla not available? Or once I hit 60 in Vanilla, I advance to the Burning Crusade, etc.?

Technically not from level 1, but from 10-69, yes. You can do so by visiting Chromie at your faction’s Embassy and selecting the WotLK campaign.

nope you can pick and choose where to lvl now from 10-69
only time you are forced in the new zone is if this is the first toon/account you make

I guess you can’t goto Northrend in Classic WoW unless you are in WoW MoP Classic, ‘eh?
