Leveling dungeons are awful. (70-80)

Join dungeon.

Tank goes.
Tank keeps going.
Tank is just going and keeps going.
Tank is never stop never stopping.
Mobs everywhere.
No aggro.
Can’t cast.
Can’t heal.
User every cd I have (level 71 Disc priest)
Sweating, clenching my holes.
Anxiety sky rocketing.
Wipe.

“Hey can we not pull the entire dungeon at once please?”

Silence

Repeat all of the above.

Tank leaves.

God I love it. Every single time, this is the way.

they want to level fast you don’t thats ok. either find 5 people that also dont like leveling fast or dont do dungeons.

Unfortunately the big pulls only work if the tank bothers to establish initial aggro. The new dungeons are great when you get a tank that knows what they’re doing

Nice job reading the post there bud.

we have thread on normal dungeons with the two
tanks are not going fast enough its normal i can heal it
tanks are going to fast. i cant keep up thought tanks were nerfed to stop this type of things

Try and be a normal speed tank and the group would tell each other “Dude, this tank is too slow, lets kick him.”

The dungeon isn’t going anywhere my guy! You’re not saving anyone time by wiping 3 times on trash.

You’re not going to miss out on anything by taking 8% more time and just pulling and clearing the dungeon like a regular human being.

Level through Delves. It’s a lot less stressful and you’ll proceed at your own pace.

It’s faster if you take it slightly slower with no wipes though.

I hate that this has become the game.

It’s part Blizzard and parts players.

No one is forcing people to pull wall to wall and generally behave like they’ll die IRL if they spend more than 10 minutes in a LFD Dungeon. Players have decided that they either enjoy that more than slower pulls or at least prefer the efficiency of it even if they don’t love the gameplay of it.

But those pulls are possible because Blizzard isn’t willing to make entry level content possible to fail. The only potential danger you face in a Normal Dungeon is danger created intentionally by massively overpulling.

It matters a lot less once you get into M+ and such, because the difficulty ramps enough that you have to at least pretend to care what’s being pulled. But the leveling and early endgame experience is absolutely awful.

As a tank. I can confirm none of this true.

This poster also cries about how he cannot finish Dawnbreaker.

its pretty hard to wipe in a leveling dungeon.

As a tank, healer, and dps, I can confirm that this is true. Unequivocally. Irrefutably.

Dawnbreaker is a terrible dungeon, the worst dungeon in the game actually. Nothing about it is fun or enjoyable, it’s just bad. I’ve done it probably 30 times at this point, sadly.

Eh, the only thing I dislike about Dawnbreaker is the hostile nameplates EVERYWHERE despite the mobs not interacting with you at all if you don’t manually pull them.

Just make them background NPCs that we can’t target.

You can pull large amounts of stuff in normal dungeons though. One has always been able to do that, unless you go really far back. Which considering you said this in another thread:

… why are you even playing retail? It doesn’t sound like it is something you want to do, so why are you playing and complaining about something you in general don’t want play?

You seem to either be drawn towards threads talking about dungeons that you know is not for you, or you start your own thread complaining about an activity you know isn’t for you. That doesn’t seem like you are trying to have a constructive conversation but rather just want to pointlessly whine.

Just go and play Classic and enjoy the stuff you enjoy doing. Ain’t more complicated than that.

I will say this is the worst I’ve seen it lol. I don’t even remember the dungeon layouts, the bosses, or what the mobs look like. I’m moving at the speed of light

I question if spreading thirty mobs out in manner where they can’t all be cleaved is really faster. Put’s tanks at the top of the meters, because everyone else is busy trying to round them up and survive. But if the tank is at the top of the meters then there’s a good chance it’s really not as efficient as some people think.

Because people can enjoy more than one thing.

For example, I like Orange juice, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like Apple juice.

Dungeons in Retail have never been so horrifically mind numbingly dreadful as they are now. Nokhuud and also the Gnoll dungeon from last expansion were exceptionally abhorrent as well. It feels like they are making dungeons worse and worse. But that’s another story.
