I love the change. I have not leveled up all my alts yet but it’s about the journey and overcoming challenges. Without the time investment, it feels hollow and easy, so this is a good thing. Even if it’s a nerf.
The mobs won’t have more HP tho LOL.
They are changing it so you aren’t doing 3 million dps at level 70 and 200k at 80.
SCALING.
completely different
I’m sorry to break the news to you but you aren’t going to see all the mechanics in a normal lvl up dungeon even after these xp nerfs.
Follower dungeons are actually really useful. Even though I prefer to raid and do m+, i still find myself using the follower dungeon system to do quests, or practice rotation, etc.
It’s a good thing you’re not a game designer, hey? Tell me, what other awful ideas do you have?
Yeah…cause we all have so much time on our hands to just focus on WoW
Well I can’t argue with that one as sometimes I feel like I need an advanced degree to understand all the interactions, macros, intended rotations, and all that stuff.
This is why I just randomly chose talents and abilities on my bars and smash my face on my keyboard. It works, but it hurts my head too.
Funny enough, 1st time I leveled through MoP I was so frustrated I actually almost quit. I died many times, it took me FOREVER to get to level 90. I absolutely hated questing/leveling, and I refuse to change my spec from resto to level.
I have a disabled friend who can barely use both hands as he had a stroke when he was born, he really struggled with leveling in WoW. He made the most progress I ever seen in remix.
Leveling isn’t the content that should be hard or frustrating, it should be very easy/simple for the most casual - the elderly - the disabled etc
0 reason for leveling to be “risky” as dying = frustrating = quitting
Indeed! If I didn’t have to work nine hours yesterday…and again, today…and further deal with other familial responsibilities before and after that, I could have done exactly as you say.
By the way…the ‘complaining’ I’m indulging in was done during my lunch break. Back to the grind!
I think something broke with the scaling and they had bigger fish to fry before launch.
This is the same thing as the Frogger’s in Remix. To me it’s more an issue of Blizz pushing the release of these things before they’re ready than some insidious plot to get people to spend 25 bucks.
IMO, gamers value their time more than they used to. I don’t want to spend extra time on entire rotations on trash outside and in Normals, because I have things to do other than level in this game. I have other hobbies, and I have IRL obligations as well. I suspect that is the case for many in here.
This game is good, but I need space to breathe and play other games and do other things. Wasting time smacking mobs that aren’t a part of endgame activities feels bad.
I feel bad i only leveled 6 80s ![]()
I should have just done them all
It’s almost like you people have never played the game. I mean, 7k achievement points says it all, doesn’t it?
Push the comments to 3,000 much like Blizz pushes this update. Lesgooo
funny, innit? lol.
I got money that says that the VAST majority of good players in this game enjoyed Remix, but dont want all the challenge gone from retaill
How many threads we’ve seen in here over YEARS complaining ‘THE GAME IS TOO EASY’
How long you think its gonna be before this forum is filled with those threads if ALL of the challenge is gone and if the world has NO ‘danger’ to it at all?
In ESO I take on too much and I die.
WoW should be exactly the same.
Also 0 reason to 1-2 shot mobs for 70% of the expansion and completeing the campaign by level 76 because the scaling is completely busted.
Frankly its personally insulting that players want to 1 shot mobs in dungeon group content. Is that really how wow is supposed to be played? Is that the spirit of the game that the developers developed the game around?..
The answer is no.
this seems absurd lmao
GOOD - World Content should be CHALLENGING and involve playing your character.
Counterpoint - I remember one shotting world mobs in pretty basic gear in Zaralek Caverns. The game hasn’t been designed with the philosophy that “every trash mob should be a chore to slay” for a very long time… That is a totally different game (Classic)!!
See what they should do is have an option that lowers the amount of xp you get so if you do just want to quest, there you go.
You said your reason that you wanted these xp nerfs is because you aren’t able to see all the mechanics in a normal lvl up dungeon, well sorry but you won’t even after these nerfs. I think it’s best that you just stay in follower dungeons.
