How am I suppose to do this if nobody want to speak in random pugs and even whine at me if I don’t pull the mob fast enough?
I’m suppose to say “Who wanna be my friend” in trade chat? My guild is dead too everybody left should I find another guild? Should I 100% focus my entire play times every days to find “friends” on a MMORPG where most people give zero crap about “Social interactions” anymore?
Again you embrace falsehoods and rely on deceit by omission to compensate for your lack of any legitimate argument. The past 3 years were while that content was relevant, or during the Joyous Journeys, both of which put actual lowbie players in the content to group with.
Even in TBC, the 1-60 scene barely had any groups until Joyous Journeys.
RDF would certainly make the 1-70 grind less of a solo experience, and actually allow players to find others to run dungeons with, as well as increasing the pool of lowbies leveling and the overall interest in creating alts to level.
The manual dungeon finder does none of this. You are chronically wrong and easily debunked in everything you’ve stated this entire thread. None of the facts are on your side.
The funny part is I had few friends to play with six of them actually at the beginning of WOTLK classic but they all left since then and said they would come back in they add RDF.
So in theory if RDF come back I’ll get friends to play with!
You keep moving the goalpost as you’re further and further debunked. The entire purpose of the manual dungeon finder is for making friends, but this isn’t possible if there’s no one to group with. This is why RDF is so important, as it creates a larger pool of lowbie players to group together and have social experiences with.
And again, RDF doesn’t do the dungeon for you. Being unable to form the group due to a lack of available players isn’t some “minimal effort” thing, it’s undoable without the other players even existing.
If you feel that in order to create a character in World of Warcraft that a prompt should come up asking if you have 4 friends to level with in advance, you can send Blizzard the suggestion. Their own philosophy is that you create new friends while playing group content together with them, especially dungeons.
having the ability to choose to level how we want vs having the game choose for us is not a good feeling. If all you want to do is quest, then you go ahead and do just that. But don’t force it on those that would like to sit back and just do some dungeons.
There’s slim pickings in the 1-60 leveling scene for making groups, so you’re objectively wrong.
You can’t invite lowbie players from other servers. There’s only enough with RDF because it gives you a larger pool of lowbies leveling on all servers to group with.
Furthermore, with RDF, people are more likely to create and level alts, because they know they have multiple server’s worth of other players creating and leveling alts to group with.
Stoves and natural gas aren’t required for cooking, but it’s certainly easier than gathering wood and starting a fire.
There aren’t enough of them on any given server. If you put that population together, then you can potentially have groups.
You mean whisper random people? They might not want to come. Thanks for explaining the other advantage of RDF. You know the people in queue actually want to do the dungeon.
It means there’s not enough looking for groups to form a group. Again, you’re objectively wrong in every way, and you’ve yet to present a point which isn’t easily debunked.
You really think people won’t swarm to leveling alts once RDF gets added? That’s a fringe and amateur take. You’re grasping at straws here.
The Citation you are requesting can be found in WOW’s history since rdf was released. It literally already happened. You have no idea how many people aren’t looking for groups now since there is no rdf. I have 5 toons at the moment. 1 healer, 2 tanks and 2 dps. I just gave up. It is too difficult to find groups. At this point, I am hanging out to try DF or see if rdf is implemented. If rdf is not implemented I will go see if DF is good. If neither turns out to be true, I will cancel WOW for the first time in 15yrs.
it’s just another weird thing that some of you try forcing on others. There is a clear demand for RDF. I’ve seen people talk about it in guilds i’m in, trade chat, etc. Some people just want to be able to log in, queue for a dungeon, and not have to potentially wait an hour. Ofc, it can be the reverse effect sometimes, but this is just situational. Depends on your server, time of day, etc. Not everyone has the time for that. People should be able to play the game how they want. To a point ofc. If it’s something that is going to damage the game, then, yeah, Don’t add it. This definitely isn’t one of them
