Level scaling complain and overall attack on WOW

it’s because they’re using devs that scales diablo thinking nothing is broken

As far as retail goes, scaling is one of the most overblown non issues I’ve ever seen anyone complain about around here.

Mobs don’t scale with you infinitely. As long as you log in once in a while and upgrade your gear, most things will fall over if you glance in their general direction.

not what people are complaining about, it scales to level 59, so no one is saying that

Wait, are you actually saying you don’t like that you can level up anywhere you feel like and want to be restricted to level locked zones? Yuck.

Why would I comment about games I have never played nor have any interest in?

Because WoW’s scaling is probably one of the worst versions of it I’ve ever seen.

As what others here have already said.

Maybe it should be based on total stats/gear or something, to a point (so people don’t make themselves naked for an easier time)- leveling up just flat-out shouldn’t make you feel weaker, yet in WoW it does.

It’s the opposite feeling of how leveling up is actually supposed to feel like in a video game.

I don’t think it was because Blizzard was bad as scaling, I think it was more of WoW wasn’t designed for any form of level scaling.

How does leveling up make you feel weaker?

In Chromie Time, everything scales to you so you should feel the same power level all the way thru, not weaker.

And out of Chromie Time, you are out-leveling the content so fast, you are one-shotting everything in no time, so you should feel stronger.

Being forced lower level in content is the worse in FF14, turned me away from the game. Like, what’s the point to reach max level if it’s just to be put back down to a level where half the time you don’t even have a decent rotation… WoW Scaling isn’t perfect but at least it let’s you enjoy your levels.
