I like to fly around and get the treasures/lorewalker stuff on each alt for a leveling break. You get a level of XP doing that, so. Might as well. Probably two levels with the Winds of WIsdom.
Might as well queue for dungeons as you fly around.

The leveling in SL might finally cause me to get flying in WoD, which is something I’ve never broken down and done yet.

When in doubt about where to go for questing in general you can always check the command boards and get an idea of your options. They’ll also give you quests to guide you to the places.

I wasn’t raiding at the time and didn’t have much else to do. So I’ve had flying pretty much everywhere.
It made getting the heritage armors for everybody pretty easy. I only have three left now, and I really only care about two of the three left.

I left during Cata and didn’t come back until Legion was announced. I preordered Legion and spent the time leveling up so I was ready on day one but I never got to the part where I did the flying unlock.

Usually pandaria but I did that enough times recently. So I’m working on Hyjal with my bear druid alt. Would be kinda weird to be a druid and not go thru there.

So no one would recommend Vashj’ir? It’s either Jade Forest or Mount Hyjal?

For Cataclysm, I found Mount Hyjal to be the only zone that isn’t boring, and for Pandaria, I found Townlong Steppes to be the least boring. The rest are completely boring

The part of Cata I liked was the part in the cave where you eventually fly around like you’re playing Joust.

That whole part was fun and the nod to Joust was great, beyond that, I hated leveling in Cata.

After level 80 (81-90) I tend to go to the Jade Forest in Pandaria. Doing a dungeon or two during the zone will also help.

This. I do Jade Forest until I get the monkey town FP opened then I head off to Valley of the Four Winds. I do that zone, work on getting my farm going with the Halfhill dailies. Usually I’m off to WoD by the time I’m done with the zone and have my farm finished.

Not really a one day way of doing it though. But it works for me since I’ve been leveling multiple Vulpera at once lately. So, I tend to switch between them from day to day.

Vashj’ir was so bad even Blizzard didn’t finish it.

I really enjoyed Hyjal too. I’m always tempted to go with Cata leveling just to do Hyjal again, but I just like Pandaria more overall.

Pandaria for sure. I went 80-90 by doing 11/12 storyline quests in jade forest. Then wod after you hit 92 gorgrond gives around 57k per quest exp plus the bonus objectives give around 180k

That is one of the main features coming for Shadowlands. The choose your leveling path. Each expansion should get you from new to current content level.

So, one of my characters has just reached Jade Forest, but then I saw two Cataclysm dungeons that offer a mount each. What are the chances that I’ll get to 91 before getting those two mounts if I just spam those two dungeons specifically? I’m thinking my plan for questing in Jade Forest has just been derailed.

I love Vashj’ir and look forward to it.

Ah, nice. At least that covers that.

This is working out nicely. I’ll have my heritage armour in no time.
