No reason not to have dual spec IMO. They’ve already artificially inflated the economy via quest reward gold at 25. We can already change runes on the fly with no cost.
To argue against dual spec is just to argue for fewer healers/tanks.

And runes makes life already flexible enough.
And your lines are only yours. They don’t affect anyone. As a heal on RP-PvP realm I would love to have second (dps) spec for PvP.
they really should add it, i dont care if it costs 10g, its so dumb not having it, making the game annoying is not entertaining, is not a difficulty added, its just annoying and outdated.
There are things that yeah, would ruin the classic vibe, this really isn’t one of those.
I really loved when they introduced dual specs in vanilla. Made it nice so you could have farm/raid/pvp/alt spec builds. I’m all for it personally. Really hoping for more QoL updates as they roll out various phases. Classic is great, but there are so many ways to improve it. I’m down for doing things that make the game more fun and interesting.

Never understood why people even like being forced into one spec choice. You’re literally forced into a situation where at least one part of the game will always have you underperforming. Put it for free on the trainer and leave it at that.

How in Azeroth can you claim a healer shortage up to level 25. Literally any class that has a heal can heal the content that is out.
Because finding a healer is literally like pulling teeth. Tanks and DPS are abundant, but people wanting to heal are not. Have you not been playing SoD?
And you are right, at level 25 anyone can ideally heal but most the healers I have gotten are Ret Paladins with no healing gear that oom each pack.
To be honest, it would be nice to see them add a long quest that is moderately difficult to get dual spec, rather than a “pay x amount of gold”.
