It hasn’t even been 24 hours, and they are taking the servers down for another maintenance. And let’s stop calling those “scheduled”; they are anything but “scheduled.”

Think of scheduled as more ‘planned’. Unscheduled would be a sudden emergency where servers needed to go down immediately. Even if it’s short notice, it’s still planned.

I’m fine with the maintenance but what I find really amusing is when people make doomsaying threads talking about how the game is trash. Then these same people are the first to complain when it’s down for maintenance

its an hour hopefully…as long as crap is getting fixed, I’ll cope.
I do think this expansion has exceeded the downtime of even DF at this same point in time after release though.
Seems like some are right and it wasnt ready to go live.

I have an addictive personality so I can use the break to do some exercise or something like that every now and again, so I’m not complaining. Let them do what they need to do to make the game awesome!

Remember times when the game didn’t need to go down every single day for maintenance spanning an entire month?
Heck, even though it was unplayable for its first week, not even WoD had this many back to back to back to back maintenance cycles.

Sucks for sure, I’m assuming some game breaking bug was introduced yesterday after maintenance and this is in order to fix it. But it’s still annoying none the less.

Right. If you are able to write down that you are doing maintenance at any point before actually doing said maintenance, consider it “planned”. lol.
