There were no herbs in AV in actual Vanilla - and I challenge you to prove me wrong with evidence.
Private servers put Lotus in Dire Maul and AV as a way to solve the issue of Black Lotus hoarders.
Blizzard does not have to do the same thing, like at all - their fallback plan for customer retention will be Shadowlands when Naxx launches.
Itâs a commodity though, flask arenât essential for gameplay believe it or not and because of that I wouldnât hold your breath for blizz to change the black lotus issue to include AV, which funny enough is going off the 1.12 design.

Wrong and off point. Do you not want an accurate vanilla experience? This is how the game was, the economy was more balanced then, than it is now 16 years later.
Itâs a gross oversight that could have easily been avoided. Instead of telling people how they should play the game, maybe the devs should have delivered an actual vanilla experience?

I have a few questions for you.
There is no problem. BL should be rare and not a crutch to make an easy game even easier. People who barely play the game are jealous and want others to suffer, this is why the forums whine about BL prices.
So one of the reasons you wanted to play classic was to pick herbs? Iâm pretty sure thatâs just supposed to be a side thing you do, not something you dream about.
1.) From close to launch until it was brought down (I had a stack of 200 black lotus)

Seems your getting upset with all that name calling your doing.
You will never get a vanilla experience again from Classic as this game has been theorycrafted entirely and there are no longer any secrets, unknowns left, etc.
We as players have become much better at the game, we know what stats are good for our classes, we have multiple bis list for every phase and class of the game.
If you wanted a true vanilla experience it would have been in the form of a new game or a total rework of classic. But because the unknown factor is gone along with the amount of theorycrafting already done you wonât ever get a Van experience for classic.
Not to say classic is bad, I enjoy it because of it being more casual friendly and a much more social game then current WoW.

Farming the lotus in AV was one of the top 3 reason I came to play classic. It was incredibly fun and rewarding. If you know, you know, and if you donât you are missing out.

People got upset a little earlier on than they are now, but it all worked out there. The only difference is that more people know how to farm gold so the prices are different.

People min/maxxed the game on Nost and all other private servers at a level beyond what we saw in Vanilla - so the price differences from Nost to now reflect that.
The problem here is that the methods are widely known because of YouTubers trying to make money off the game.
Again, this happened on Nost, and it all worked out - hell you even cleared Naxx - donât get so worried.

No. Them not spawning in AV is diluting the experience in AV. As the current experience in AV is pretty awful. Itâs mostly unplayable and bad.
